Having grown up in Sioux City, one just knows that there is no place like Milwaukee Weeny. Because of the new Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, there is now a brand new place-- the third location in my lifetime, Fortunately, the venue has changed in 50 plus years, but the quality and consistency are the same as always. If you... More

The hot dogs are not all beef. Not grilled. Bums are not hot. Just like buying a package of hotdogs coming home and cooking them on the stove. Was very disappointed after hearing how good it was.

OK, the Milwaukee Wiener House is not bad. We enjoyed a decent Hot Dog lunch, for a reasonable price. I wouldn't mind returning, but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again. It's got Hot Dogs, and a few variations on the dog, a few other grill items, and some nostalgic furnishings, but it just doesn't... More

I have been going here since I was a child. This is a no frills, family run hot dogs place. It's awesome. The hot dogs with chili and onions are awesome. Can still get soda in a glass bottle. Owners/staff are very friendly and have perfected the dog! Love, love, love this place.

If you love hotdogs and chili, this is the place for you. Or if you love old, nostalgic eateries, this is also the place for you. My grandparents went on one of their first dates here back in the day...and that's pretty cool to me. I've never been super impressed with the food, but that could be because a hotdog... More

This place has a lot of history as coworkers we quick to question why I have never been. Their new location takes a lot of that away, but it's very clean and in the perfect spot in town. The dogs are small but very inexpensive; the buns were fresh and soft. The chili has a very unique flavor with the... More

So I have ate hear a couple of times and I have to ask what Sioux City finds so special about this place. The hot dogs are average. The chili on the hot dogs less than. It must be the fact that the place has been here forever. So if you want to eat a average hot dog eat here.

Brand new building, lost some of the original charm but makes up for it in that it is clean and lots of seating. Parking is a challenge due to the new casino being bulilt right next door. Same great taste though and reasonable prices.

I wasn't overly impressed with the wiener, but the soup was good. I think it's more a sentimental favourite for people who grew up here.

I love eating at this place, and cannot wait for the new one to open! I order the hot dogs with cheese and chilly along with a root beer in the bottle. Please open the new one soon! I miss this place and look forward to the grand opening of the new one to taste those hot dogs once more!... More
