The is the real deal in BBQ. We had the 50/50 sandwiches two sides and a drink for for $12.99. The portions were huge. The BBQ Brisket was tender juicy and had great bark. The Pulled pork was succulent and also had a nice bark. The sides included homemade pie. We opted for a piece of the Makers Mark pecan... More

Bf & I went here for the first time today and we will be back! Food was phenomenal and the pecan pie was amazing. They had run out of Special Whipped Cream so they whipped us up a fresh batch. It is a little pricey but over all amazing!

Looking at the place, it looks a little run down. The menu is full of so much, so my husband and I ordered a bunch of different items to try. Prices were so cheap for the amount of food you get. Everything was so fresh and super good. The people that work there like what they do and are very... More

This was our first visit to the House of Q and we were pleasantly surprised. You place your order at the counter and find a table to sit down - you do not have a waitress. The atmosphere is just ok but the food makes up for their casual style. We ordered the chicken and ribs. We chose the baked... More

Owners are great and very friendly. Food is terrific. Nice value, excellent choice of sauces. Ribs and sandwiches are very good.

The brisket was amazing. The sides we got (fried pickles and mac and cheese balls) probably would have been really good, but they tasted like they were fried in old oil. I really liked all of their bbq sauce options. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We also got our food quickly, and it was very reasonably priced... More

The place isn't much to look at, but you will feel welcome, have great BBQ, and if you don't go away full with change in your pocket I would be surprised. Great food Great value

We used to love The House of Q but had a terrible experience the last time we went. I was with a group of 8 people and understand it can be difficult to get the timing right when it comes to bringing food out. 4 of us received our food right away and the other 4 ended up waiting approximately... I enjoyed pulled pork sandwiches from this fellow back when he had a mobile operation and expected his restaurant to be the same. Perhaps it IS, depending on when you go there, but I would say while he knows how to make good BBQ, running a restaurant is another challenge - one that needs some work. Both of us felt... More

I've eaten here twice and both times I have taken my food to go, So I can't comment on the atmosphere or service but the food is pretty good. I had brisket both times and it was good. It had a nice flavor, good portion for the price, but it was slightly dry. The sauce I had with it was... More
