I know I need to lower my expectation when I order fish in rural areas. The fish was lacking in flavor and was dry because it was over cooked. The staff could use a little help with customer service skills

This is the social hub of a small town , always has the local charters in , food is simple , straight forward and good. Micro brewery beers add spice to the place , the wheat beers are refreshing!

If you are in Shenandoah, you're going to fine few places to eat. The Depot Deli looks like a cool place to go however it is the worst dive I've been to in years. Dirty, cluttered, dusty, and the food and service is terrible. You'd be better off going to Burger King, McDonald's or Pizza Hut.

We enjoyed looking at all the memorabilia on the walls but were disappointed that it took 45 minutes to get bacon and eggs when they were not busy at all....we had to finally go up and ask for a second cup of coffee after 25 minutes...don't waste your time...the food was nothing special, the bacon was far from crisp, not... It is a local business that has preserved an old railroad depot into a restaurant and small bar. The food was average quality but priced a little above average. With not many dining choices in this small community and the historical furnishing atmosphere of the interior this helps to offsets the two previous mentioned down side points.

We love the feeling of the Depot. Find your own seat, look around at the unusual items around and check out their tiny brew pub. The food was great and beer even better. The wait staff was helpful to tell us the history of the restaurant (opened 1983), the "hot" spots in town (Everly Brothers house across the street moved... More

when visiting my friends in the area i stopped in this location for lunch. I enjoyed the experience and the fact that such a place existed in such a small town.

Sorry to have to say, but we found the Depot to be dirty, and quite dusty feeling, it could use a good overall cleaning. We wondered when was the last visit from the health inspector. The food is far from fresh, we suspect a lot of frozen, pre-prepared, and canned products are used. Robert Irvine would have a field day... More

The Depot has good food, quantity, and prices. It's locally popular. The building is quite old and we wonder how well kept it is, but have enjoyed eating there several times, including a large family dinner/reunion. A young couple came in and told the waitress they stopped for dinner because they saw it had a microbrewery.

Don't expect a gourmet dining experience here , this place is all about honest good pub food at a friendly price . Beer is from their own micro brewery , only $ 2.50 a glass (16oz) and of great taste !!
