Great sauce but super thin... one person can eat more than a large pizza by themselves... ours was burnt but the flavor was good

Hands down one of my favorite places to eat and visit in the area. It is truly an experience for the open minded people like myself. The place is very eclectic and fun. The food is amazing, (favorite dick pizza is the best). The pizza is thin and crispy, no grease seeping out of the pizza which makes for clean... More

This place was really neat. The food was decent only issue's I had was the crust was a little thin and not enough toppings for the price, also it took a very long time for us to get our pizzas. I will definitely eat there again the next time I'm in Sabula. I loved the atmosphere it reminded me of... More

Very good pizza and service. Unique setting, they have beer & wine also. Sabula is a nice looking little Island town, but there really isn't much there besides the river, so camping/ fishing/ swimming.

Imagine driving to a remote small town on the Mississippi River near Savannah, Illinois (nice town to visit) but across the old bridge to Sabula, IA for a wood fire pizza and some neat 70's relics of the past on the walls, and some familiar music and great waitress/bartender/new hippy-chick to hassle you. Bombfire Pizza has that and a nice... More

I called in my order they said 25 mins. Got there they said another 15 so I left and came back still was not ready. Needless to said it took over an hour. The floor was covered in nasty peanut shells. Also could not find out how to get in the building. Also the pizza on the Website cost 15... More

Bombfire is a delightfully unusual place, funky and eclectic, creative and open, sometimes crowded, always comfortable and welcoming. This was my second visit to Bombfire but my first time to eat. We were a table of six (among many other full tables) but we never waited for service, whether to order our food or get additional drinks. I love that... More

We had a fantastic meal, seated with total strangers who were fun, engaging and thoroughly enjoyable. Eclectic atmosphere. Try the stuffed mushrooms and gobbledygook pizza. Dan Peart was performing original and cover songs, a great artist.

Everything was awesome. Great whimsical atmosphere. Stuffed Jalapenos and pizza were both excellent. Friendly staff.
