The food is amazing!! Lots of pastries, breads, donuts, and all sorts of selection. If you come to Pella, this is a must stop. Be sure to get a Dutch Letter

Well this is one of the best bakeries i have been to in the US. Rivals the best bakeries in Germany. Everyone in my group loved everything. What a nice find, people working in the bakery were helpful and friendly. Simply a wonderful find, thank you!

Stopped here because of TripAdvisor reviews. Great bakery. The "letter" is a flaky pastry that tastes like it's filled with almond paste. Yum. Really good. Everything else looks wonderful too.

We wanted to try something Dutch while in the area, so we wandered into Jaarsma Bakery because it was highly recommended by the locals. We now understand why. It smelled delightful when we walked in the door and there was so much to choose from. The prices were extremely reasonable, and the Almond Paste Filled Dutch Letters that were in... More

We had stayed downtown at Royal Amsterdam hotel. So this place is a few blocks away. We want to find some local fare of the Dutch bakery and candy. WOW what a paradise of bread, pastry's, candy and much more. Where you are passing though or staying it is a must stop and but something, you will be glad you... More

This place is amazing. Stopped in around noon and kept buying and buying and buying things to try. We took our prize purchases outside and sat in the park and ate til we were stuff. We were on a sugar high for the rest of the day but it was soooooooo worth it. I can't name one item that was... More

This place is a definite stop if in Pella to tour the flowers. It's across the street from the main square. They have a large selection and their products are just delicious. Cookies and pastries galore. The prices are reasonable and there's nick nacks to look at when waiting in line. It gets crowded during mid day and they could... More

Usually we take rave reviews with a grain of salt, especially when it comes to food. Bakeries too often are rated on sweetness, gooeyness, and overly large items, and too often coast along on outdated reputation. NOT SO HERE! Jaarsma's is one of the best bakeries I have ever been! The display cases are simply mouthwatering. The sheer number of... More

the only thing I'll say about this wonderful bakery, is Try it You'll Like it.....The prices are reasonable and the wait in line is more than worth it. Dutch Letters are GREAT but.....we had some little cupcake type things with a chocolate star in the middle and I thought I'd gone to heaven. There is a pumpkin spice muffin, cupcake... More
