Surprise, wonderful food and appetizer

Had great selection of "unusual" wonderful choices. Our appetizer was delicious, I was hesitant to try but OMG it was great, peaches with marscapone (?) cheese wrapped in wonton and wrapped in bacon!! Husband had fried spaghetti w/sausage and meatballs with spaghetti sauce, he loved it. Our... read more

Kazarelli's is easily the best restaurant in the Okoboji/Iowa Great Lakes area. You can go there for the gourmet meals served by an excellent chef, or simply for great bar food. Examples: 1) Gourmet? Last visit we tried Hawaiian Hebi (spearfish) in a wonderful cream sauce, topped with pear salsa on a bed of forbidden rice. Easily the best meal... More

Kazarelli's is one of the best little restaurants in Okoboji. It is located off highway 86 in Wahmpeton. It is a favorite for fresh seafood, (usually flown in), steaks, and pasta. It is only open for dinner beginning at 5. Reservations recommended . Almost everything is made from scratch, so be prepared to enjoy a leisurely dining experience!

Fathers Day brunch was awesome. Delicious sauce on the brisket. Love the pasta here. Came back for dinner later in the week, very crowded on weekends so plan to go during the week if possible

EVERYTHING went wrong. While it didn't appear there were many people waiting for tables, it took forever to get seated. Our waitress was quite prompt and took our order; however nearly an hour later, we had no food. She kept going back to check, over and over again, but apparently the kitchen had gone on break or something. When we... More

We were among the first to make a reservation well in advance for Valentine's Day dinner. When we arrived we were told neither the main dining area or the nice dining area east of the bar would be available for seating. The main dining area was only half full, the other dining area had one group of four and every... More

My husband and I heard several good things about Kazarelli's and decided to give it a try - never again! We were not seated until 30 minutes after our reservation time and the hostess was not the friendliest person we'd ever encountered. She constantly left the front door leaving us and many other guests standing in line wondering if we... More

I travel all over the US working and visit many restaurants. I have been in this area for 6 months now and will leave soon. I have been to every eatery in Okoboji area many times. Hands down this place is great, all the time, I'm from New Orleans and know what good food is, Chef Dan is great and... More

Since the menu is limited and all food is prepared as ordered, get ready to wait quite some time for your meal. This is NOT a quick-serve restaurant, but a fine-dining establishment with a full-service, well-stocked bar. There are also nightly specials. All dinners begin with warm sliced bread(tasty). Meals on the regular menu include either homemade soup of the... More

I visited Kazarelli's for the first time early August 2013. It was the worst dining experience in a long time. We went there because of the "all you can eat fish" ad in the local paper. We paid $17 per person and after being at the restaurant for two hours had received 2 small pieces of walleye and fries. After... More
