I had the Red, White and Blue Burger -- it was delicious. And, it was huge! Service was great. And, my two girlfriends and I had such a fun time hanging out there, and catching up at such a quaint location!

WAITED to be seated, while MANY tables were open. WAITED for drink order to be taken. WAITED for food order to be taken. Several of us ordered the Special; waitress returned much later to tell us they had just run out of the Special. Waitress apologized due to being short staffed in kitchen AND cooks in training. Appetizers finally arrived... More

We will travel several hours on a day trip to breweries. Use to camp at Yellow River and McGregor is such a sweet little town we thought: why not? But this was not worth the 2 1/2 hour trip. There were exactly two other sets of customers in the place and we had to wait to be seated. Waited about... More

Just left the place, we got there around 730 pm. It took a half hour to first get our drinks, the bartender kept coming over and asking us if our waitress took our order. Instead of her taking our order she was just rude about it. Then finally after waiting forever a different waitress came to help. There was barely... More

Nice decor with a bit of slow service. Fish Fry over priced at twelve dollars but tasty. Our waitress forgot to explain the cheese & sausage platter until it was almost gone. Would've been nice to know what we were eating! It was very good though, enough for 4.

We stopped mid day, so it was not very busy. Liked the unique menu descriptions and went for burgers. Good choice! Very high quality beef. The burger I ordered was Iowa BBQ with onion rings on it and on the side. Loved it! BBQ sauce was as good as any you'd find up or down the River. Onion rings also... More

My husband and I rode our motorcycles over to the Mississippi River for a scenic ride and found this restaurant "on the triangle" along the main street. We ordered burgers with pretzel buns and were surprised to find them melt-in-your-mouth delicious. They have a secret recipe the waiters aren't even privy to. If you are in the area, this is... More
