My husband and I have eaten here a couple of times--the first time for a dinner not long after they opened and more recently for the Champagne Brunch on a Sunday. Both times the food was presented adequately but there just wasn't the "wow" factor. Don't get me wrong--the service and atmosphere was nice and the food was okay but... More

I've been here several times for lunch ~ usually on a Saturday. They offer wonderful sandwiches, soups, salads and deserts. The "Seth" is a vegetarian sandwich option, which is yummy! I highly recommend the mac & cheese as a side or a "small" addition to a sandwich with a side. My favorite soup to date is their tomato basil ~... More

My friend and I make annual trips to Mason City to visit the Hotel and and enjoy the Prairie School architecture. Earlier during our visit, we had eaten a wonderful meal but it was very rich. We were craving healthy, fresh, wholesome food, and we found it here. We had a 'Ralph's Simple Supper', which included Blackened Salmon (yum), roasted... More

We had breakfast. The buckwheat waffle was quite good, and the mini-omelet was fairly good too. We appreciated our waitress for her down-to-earth, friendly style.

Cute little cafe across from the Historic Park Inn. Freshly prepared sandwiches and a whole counter display of salads to choose from. Very sweet girls working the counter who are proud of their work. Nice spot for lunch or brunch.

We stopped here for Sunday breakfast (9am) since it was near our hotel. The decor is cute and has a decidedly a farm feel (local food). We were handed a brunch menu, which had about 8 options, most of which were savory or had meat in them. I like a sweet, carbo-loaded breakfast when I eat out, and the only... More

Since we were in the area on a Saturday, we decided to stop for breakfast at The Garden Cafe. Although the menus was small, only 5 items, everything was made from scratch. My friend had the omlet with fresh veggies & cheese. It came with a fruit cup (fresh) and homemade bread toast. He said it was delicious. I had... More

My husband and I were told this was a good option for local food with healthy ingredients so we felt like this was going to be a great choice. We walked in and the girl at the counter asked us if we had ever eaten there before. When I told her no, she rolled her eyes, turned around and put... More

Great place for homebaked desserts. Great soups and daily specials. Love their meatloaf on Tuesdays (I think they have the meatloaf on Tuesdays)..
