Since we knew the Texas Roadhouse gets busy, our party of 3 arrived at 5:15 PM on a Monday night. Surprisingly, it was still busier than we expected but pressure on the servers and kitchen was certainly not at peak. Perhaps this accounted for the great service and meals that we enjoyed. Our steaks were great tasting and cooked perfectly.... More

Ordered dinner to go for four. They got every detail right, down to the bread and peanuts. Impressed. Thanks for the extra ketchup. The 4 year old ate it all!

Texas Roadhouse seems to do well at every location I've visited. At 5:45 PM on a Tuesday night, this one was full. Lots of families, noise, and staff running around. Service was pretty iffy. Seems the servers have ti split time singing for birthdays or dancing to songs. When our food did arrive, one potato was undercooked and the vegetables... More

Bar far the best ribs I have ever eaten - fall off the bone tender. Wonderful yeast rolls with cinnamon butter. If you don't call ahead for seating, be prepared to wait, sometimes up to an hour.

We arrived at 9 pm on a saturday and was told 5-15 minute wait. We waited 30 minutes and were called up to only stand in another line for 8 minutes. They did give free appitizer to us when we made them aware of this mislead information. The steaks are average at best. It is loud , crowded and just... More

The food is good, but it's noisy like all Texas Road Houses. And it seemed congested. I wish that they would address those issues in all of their restaurants.

There was a 40-minute wait for seating. It was Saturday night at 8pm, and the place was packed. We opted for takeout which had its own order desk and staff person. Our order was from their normal menu and ready in ten minutes. The Roasted Chicken with sides of house salad and green beans, and a grilled shrimp appetizer, were... More

You can grill better at home and not have to wait for a seat. Loud and overrated. Service is also average with young staff.

We have eaten at a Texas Roadhouse in Omaha and decided to try this one. While the address is Johnston, IA. it really is on the north side of the Des Moines, IA metro area. Just off I-80 at the 86th St exit. As this was a Friday night we decided to eat early, arriving around 5:10PM. We were able... More
