Craving a taste of Paris in Iowa? Go to Crepes De Luxe Cafe for sweet or savory crepes like the popular "Monkey Treat" with bananas and Nutella, or the L'Ocean, Salmon, Aioli, Lemon Juice, and Swiss Cheese. Chef Hicham has created a little taste of Paris in Iowa City and it is delicious. We have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. Within walking distance of the downtown hotels and popular pedestrian mall, it is a great restaurant for two or a small group. There is limited seating but any wait is worth it. If you are looking for an alternative to the "greasy spoon" breakfast or fast food dinner, try Crepes De Luxe Cafe. You will walk away thinking you just left a bistro near the Eiffel Tower.

Best crepes in the mid west

Excellent crepes in a small, cozy setting. A great choice for lunch if you're looking for somewhere that will leave you pleasantly full, but not over stuffed. They only have tables for four, so larger groups need to split up. The owner/chef is very personable and you can practice your French if... read more

The food is good, but the seating options are very uncomfortable and limited. The food is expensive and I'm always still hungry. It's good if you just want something light and different, are willing to pay.

This restaurant is very family friendly. You order at the counter and find a seat. They bring your food to you. We ordered the le Martin and smore. Good. My daughter especially liked her. We would come visit here again. My daughter was able to stand at the counter and watch them prepare our meal which was also very fun

I spent a lot of time searching for a different and highly rated place for lunch when making a trip to the University of Iowa Hospital for an eye appointment. On several occasions I have eaten at the Iowa River Power Company restaurant, which I might add has delicious food but I was was simply in the mood for something... More

Love the crepes and the staff. The environment is comfortable and fun- you can watch your crepe be made and have a gluten free option on most days. A lot of times when I want to go, they are closed. Maybe more staff could be hired so that the business was open more often, especially with the downtown location they... More

This is a great, inexpensive place to grab a dessert. The menu is quite large, to suit a variety of tastes. My favorite is the smores crepe!!

The crepes are good, the selection is big enough, the people are very kind. The place is tiny though, and I feel like it's a bit expensive for crepes, but in the US crepes are a rarity, so it's probably worth it ...

One of the best places my wife and I have visited in the United States! The food is flawless (not cheap but it is definitely worth every penny), the staff is very nice and friendly, the interior is very simple but clean and cozy. If we lived in Iowa City we'd be frequent visitors.
