Wonderful seafood with nice flavors and diverse wine selection to match your plate. Service was good. Atmosphere was nice but spacing with other tables was a little too cozy to allow it to be as romantic as would have liked.

We had an excellent dinner here. Service was very helpful and accommodating. We asked to split the pasta course and the entree. Not only did she agree, but said that was an excellent way to do it. Everything was delicious, but the best was the shells with tomato sauce (very light, not marinara) and veggies. The tuna was very fresh... More

We went for an early dinner at the restaurant before an early show nearby. We noted that we were under a little time pressure when the wait staff first approached. They were very accommodating. Two of us ordered lasagna, one ordered a dish of homemade macaroni with prosciutto and vegetables in a light cream sauce, and I ordered fresh line-caught... More

Made reservations two weeks in advance. Our table was not ready when we arrived. Ordered and waited ONE HOUR for our food. Food was excellent but we had out of town guests and had raved about Baroncini's. A terrible disappointment. It will be a very long time before we return. Excellent Italian dining with an ever changing menu. Outstanding service in a cozy atmosphere. I have visited several times and have never left hungry. The bruschetta is a wonderful start and the entrees always delight the palate.

We went for lunch during graduation weekend, and it was not crowded at all -- amazing. Very nicely decorated and pleasant wait staff. However, miscommunication between the hostess and waitress as we waited quite a while and had to ask for menus, for which waitress was very apologetic. We also noticed later that ours was the only table in the... More

Adds to the wonderful variety of ethnic food choices in Iowa City. Gourmet food at higher end price but still reasonable. Fresh and delicious appetizer and main course. Good wine choices to compliment. Relaxed and romantic atmosphere. Good and helpful service. We might go again!

Darren Sita's showed itself to be a wonderful restaurant, with excellent service by Jessica and delicious food. Prices were reasonable, the wine list offered a reasonable selection a good prices, and the food was delicious. The lobster ravioli was served as homemade pasta in a slightly spicy and very lobster-ey sauce.

The best thing was the appetizer with fresh mozzerella, it was very good. The bread, while hot, tasted like it was from a pillsbury tube. We ordered the Veal, A steak, and a Fish dish that was supposed to have scallops. The veal was burned, the fish had no scallops, which they changed their description from smothered in scallops to...
