Visited on the evening of the 1st November, we hadn't booked but were shown straight to a table. Lots of choice on the menu and the specials board. I had the monkfish in a cream tarragon sauce, which was to die for as was the lemon cheesecake. My husband had the Doom Steak & Ale Pie followed by Cheese &... More

Found this pub on the internet, having had a diar meal the previous night decided to give it a whirl. We wasn't disappointed at all, lovely quaint pub, with very friendly owners. Meal we had was second to none, good quality food, everything cooked from fresh, vegetables from their own allotment. My partner had ham, chips & eggs, my mum... More

It wasn't a good start. No-one else in the pub and the lack of atmosphere was matched by the barmaid sadly. Then we looked at the prices which were higher than we would have expected normally, so we ordered lunch with some trepidation. However when the food came it was way past our expectations - superbly cooked and delightfully presented... More

Just back from a week in Bolingey and a fabulous week in Cornwall. The local pub was recommended and we are so glad it was !!! Excellent food, all freshly cooked, superb service, very friendly, but professional too. The Beef and Ale pie is to die for - had it 2 nights running! Loved the pub, the food and everything... More

My family ate here on the last evening of our stay in Perranporth, we had read several reviews & even had first hand recommendations to give the Bolingey Inn a try, so we arrived with fairly high expectations. Firstly the parking is horrendous we were their early 18.00 hours there was one space available, several people tried to park &... More

On holiday in the village, went to the bolingey inn yesterday evening. The food is fresh cooked and amazing. Large potions. So good we're going back tonight. The owners and staff made you very welcome we've got our dog with us and they made her welcome to.

we visited here on recommendation and were not disappointed!!! This is a charming location with a warm welcome from the locals and everyone working there. Nothing is too much trouble and the food is fantastic. In particular I would recommend the monk fish in tarragon cream which was divine and also the hot mackerel on toast. We were here for... More

Most pubs have lost what this pub has retained. Plenty of locals here on both occasions that we visited with our two children, and they were a friendly bunch. The service was relaxed and informal but great and the food tasty with generous portions which you were not charged the earth for as in most gastro pubs these days. Friendly... More
