I went there with friends on a Friday night and enjoyed the food so much that I went back with my partner the following Monday! I had Lemon Sole that was amongst the best I have ever had! Jacqui had Salmon which she enjoyed immensely! The staff were friendly on both visits (different both times) as were the locals. The... More

I was really looking forward to having Sunday lunch here as I have heard really good things about the food and it has been recommended on several occasions. However, the atmosphere in the pub is very strange and definitely unwelcoming. When our food arrived, roast pork and beef, the portions where large but my beef was VERY well done and... More

We were on a fleeting visit to Perrenporth & by good fortune we happened to spot the signs for this place. Having not booked we were delighted to be given a table... Although booking definitely recommend on a Sunday .... The roasts looked amazing ... Very generous portions too ! Alas we'd already bought the evening meal so settled on... More

I can't really comment on the food, as my wife and I just went for a drink. However we did watch the wife of the husband and wife team, cleaning the tables after someone had finished eating. Any food scraps were brushed on to the floor. The toilets were clean, but both hooks on the back of the doors were... More

Having read recent reviews we thought we'd give The Bolingey Inn a try as a family of three and it was fantastic. A small inn with Imogen parking, it's worth a visit; my husband had the pheasant special with new potatoes and veg and commented he was very relieved he hadn't ordered a starter. Our 7 yr old son had... More

Had a great few days at a local house with some friends, and went to the Bolingey Inn on Friday night. Catering for our table of 17 was no problem, the food all came out at the same time, piping hot and tasting fantastic. Great selection of beers too, liked it so much we went back tonight. They even lent... More

We have stayed in the village for a few days relaxing. Visiting the local area. We took a gentle stroll to the pub with the dogs. We were made very welcome by the staff and owners alike. On the friday evening we went back and had a meal, although we waited a while for our food it was more than... More

Our second visit after such a good meal on our first. Such good service and food last time but so different this time. No welcome as I got to the bar even though I was the only person stood there, just a " what can I get you?". Sat at a table which was a little sticky and read the... More

Visited on the evening of the 1st November, we hadn't booked but were shown straight to a table. Lots of choice on the menu and the specials board. I had the monkfish in a cream tarragon sauce, which was to die for as was the lemon cheesecake. My husband had the Doom Steak & Ale Pie followed by Cheese &... More
