This is a great place for lunch or just coffee. Plenty of seating and good wifi connection. Warm, pleasant atmosphere. Friendly service. Very good food, including sandwiches, pizza in a big wood-fired oven, and desserts. I always enjoy it.

The Revelations Cafe has a wonderful menu loaded with creative food choices! Ordering online was so fast and efficient for our lunches. Service was a little laid back. No customers were there and I waited at least two minutes for someone to help me pick up my order at the counter. That aside, it is a wonderful place to sit... More

As I come to town to visit family every summer, I've enjoyed many delightful hours in Revelations. There's always something appealing on the menu; this year's highlights included the turkey burger and the wasabi tuna sandwich. It's refreshing to walk into the coolness, accentuated by the walls and walls of secondhand books on topics I'm enthusiastic about. New books and... More

Gluten free options in a friendly and cozy atmosphere with books to read, friendly staff. Not a typicam Mid-Western place, very nice.

I was visiting my long time friend and my first time in Iowa. This restaurant is very different, lots of books, friendly and seems very popular. I had the Margerita Pizza and it was the best I have ever had. My friends had soup and sandwiches and every left happy. A neat restaurant.

My husband and I were passing through Fairfield and were looking for a nice place to have a light lunch. Revelations cafe had great food (we ordered soups and sandwiches) and a great atmosphere. The bookstore is quaint and the art on the walls is very unique which makes for a fun experience. The only downside to our meal was... More

I like that this place uses organic and health conscious good but you don't get the same thing every time. For instance, I really like their veggie pizza but when I order it, it doesn't always have the same veggies on it. Also it is a little too hipster for me.
