Description: The slightly irreverent attitude has become our calling card over the years, doing things the way we always have regardless of convention. We're still making fresh hand-crafted burgers, roasting our own turkey and chicken, slow-basting our falling-off-the-bone-tender ribs, and hiring the friendliest people to be part of our team. Why bother? Because bigger and better isn't just an attitude. It's a commitment to everyone who comes through our door. The party is still going strong today. The burgers are still huge, the beer is still cold and we're the best place to watch the game. No matter what part of the country you're in, you are sure to find a neighborhood Champps nearby

For sports fans and fans of good food, Champps Americana delivers an array of tasty appetizers and full meals plus a great selection of brews in a convivial setting. The main bar is literally wall-papered with big screens so you can watch your favorite sporting events and follow your favorite teams. I had the Chicken Satay appetizer which was generous... More

Everyone there was super friendly and super helpful. There are probably 30 TVs and the bar tender was willing to put our game on. Heather, our server, was very friendly, did not rush us at all. The food was good, better than I expected for a pub. The entire place was clean, and not loud. The prices were all reasonable.... More

This restaurant was dead to me for a while. Nothing stood out. It was just another one of those chain type restaurants like Applebee's or Fridays. We stopped here for a work meeting a few months ago. I was quite impressed with the quality of the food. The bourbon salmon is by far the best salmon I have ever had.... More

Husband and I ate dinner here on a Saturday night and as usual we arrived at peak time 6:30pm. I was leery about eating in what I'd thought would be a loud, noisy place that served only bar food. Well I was wrong! Lot's of customers and very busy but surprisingly not overly noisy. I guess because there wasn't music... More

actually ate here twice during my 3 days. Service was good, food was hot. I had chicken strips in buffalo sauce with Caesar salad and chili. Chicken strips were cooked to perfection with good flavor, not too hot but flavorful. Chili had good flavor as well. Never had trouble getting a table on the bar side and there was plenty... More

Food was lukewarm, except for the pancakes which were cold. Juice and coffee were watered down. The scrambled eggs were good as were the sausages and bacon. They only have diet yogur with artificial sweeteners which we don't eat so it would have been nice to have a regular yogurt. The hostess is nearly non-existent even though there is a... More

Stopped here for lunch and the service was good. Food was pretty good as well. The fajitas tacos, burger and fish were all very good. We would go back.

Our son goes to college in Dubuque and we were visiting for a family weekend and decided to try out Champps Americana. The restaurant was very crowded due to all the family's in town for the weekend so we called ahead to save our spot. Arriving at the designated time we were told that it would be a few more... More

We had dinner at Champps on a Friday night. We were seated pretty quickly and attended to right away. We've found that Champps burgers are way to big for one person, so we usually split one. Our waitress was quite accommodating, bringing an extra plate without being asked. The food was good - what you'd expect. We would eat here... More

We decided to go here for dinner as we hadn't been to a Champs in a very long time (almost a year according to my last FB check in). Atmosphere: part sports bar and part restaurant. There were enough screens in the restaurant area to see games and such, but not so overwhelming that you had one in your face... More
