I found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and it didn't disappoint. We made reservations and were promptly sat, a party of four, including two kids. Thankful I made reservations as it was packed. We were given kids menus and a box of markers, which the kids put to good use. Wonderful service overall by Liz, our waitress. Delicious pear martini to... More

Connie, I and Oscar the dog were looking for her first geocache and it was taking far too long. A long day of hiking and events in the Iowa state parks had taken its toll, and as we headed back to the car to head back into Dubuque, I knew that we were far off of our schedule. The GPS... More

Cannot say enough about this beautiful restaurant! Amazing owners, staff, service and especially the food! It's delicious and dining at LMay is an experience, not just a meal! Lea and her family also do SO much to support the community so it's wonderful to recommend them whenever I can!! You won't have a better meal in the tri state area!

The atmosphere of L.May is excellent to start. My husband and I shared the bruschetta appetizer, which was more of a caprese/bruschetta fusion. Delicious. Then we each had the house salad, which was delicious. I could have had that as my main meal. Main course, we split the pesto chicken, which was also delicious, and plenty of food for the... More

We visited this restaurant for the first time last night with another couple. We had reservations at 7 and were seated at 7! The place was very busy but the service was excellent. We were out of there within an hour. The food was very good. I had the Pesto Chicken; good but probably would not order it again. Two... More

Last Sat 4 of us dined and it was great. Food was delicious and service wonderful. We did not know there was outdoor tables, we sat inside. The Lasagna was very good and the osso busco is good but rich.

I had the scallops - amazing. My husband had a small pizza that was great. Our friends had the lasagna and trout. The only comment was the trout was fishy and wasn't very good. Everything else was very tasty. We started with an app of mussels - yum!

The food was very good and the aura excellent, sitting outside on the "main street". The bar was friendly and comfortable. The service was far too casual, though, and not quite on point.

Very nice restaurant which was actually open on a Sunday night! The food was very good and we had our own little table by the window which was very romantic. We had a coupon for a free dessert. We chose the brownie with ice cream and it was to die for!
