I was advised that this restaurant is a local favorite. I ordered the flash-cooked chicken dish which was incredible.

Overpriced seafood in the heart of downtown Des Moines, a stone's throw from the capital and the Court St. nightlife. Special was a thick cut of Chilean Sea Bass - which was delicious. Fried oyster appetizer is to be avoided.....cooked in oil that was not up to temp and it was very greasy. Lobster Mac side dish was good but... More

Great food, excellent service, great location (across the street from the civic center - best choice for a pre-show dinner). I had the Truffle Vegetable Pasta = yum.

Delicious, fresh seafood served 6 days a week. They have a great and friendly waitstaff. The salads are cold and crisp. If you have a large group or party they will accommodate you. They also take reservations which is not done by several restaurants in the Des Moines area.

Really good fish restaurant! I wanted to try several things on the menu as it all looked so good! I was there with colleagues and we all had a fantastic meal - I'll definitely be going back!

Don't make a trip to Des Moines without a nice dinner at Splash. The bbq shrimp appetizer was truly amazing. We also had the salmon special. It was melt in your mouth good! Love the atmosphere, great service. Love it love it!

I loved the raw bar (oyster fan)! Loved the ciopino and calamari. Fried oysters were also tasty. Beautiful atmosphere. went her for lunch and dinner! I always eat ere when I come to Des Moines. I mainly eat fish and this was a pleasant surprise to find in Iowa!

This restaurant needs to move up in number, it is definitely in the top ten. I ordered lobster and steak, OMG...it was the best I've eaten in along time. Both cooked excellent. It came with garlic mashed and asparagus. I ordered a bloody mary upon waiting for supper, it is my signature drink. I love getting acquainted with the bartender,... More
