I used the room service while staying at the Magnuson hotel. I ordered the steak salad on arugula greens with mashed potatoes. The mased potatoes were cold and for some reason crusty but didn't taste bad. I did enjoy the steak salad.

We were staying overnight and just wanted something quick so we could get some sleep before we flew out in the morning. So we stopped here...it was close to the airport hotels, the service was pretty good, the food was good and it was not hard to find our way back to the hotel.

Very friendly waitress gave us ideas what to get and what to avoid, I got the chicken salad it was really good. Kids thought the burger was just OK. The onion rings were very delish, Will come back in the future.

Everytime I go, I try to have something different. I have not had a bad meal yet. I love their thin and crispy onion rings. The wait staff is always attentive. I have eaten at both Des Moines locations and they are of equal quality.
