Cozy Eats Italian Style

Noah's is a cultural landmark. It's been in town so long, that just about everyone's heard of it. Thankfully, it's reputation for food is good as well. Visited Noah's Ark for a friend's birthday dinner. Amoungst the party were adults and small children. The restaurant does take reservations, allowing us to be seated the moment we walked in. The building itself is this cute, older establishment with swinging front doors. The food itself is not so appealing. My husband and others around me ordered the Prime Rib... More

A cultural landmark, Jason,? That's such a huge compliment that I'm speechless. All I can say is that it's an honor to be a part of this community, and I'm looking forward to many more years together. Take care, James - Owner More

Six of us enjoyed a wonderful dinner together at Noah's. All our dinners were great, but we especially enjoyed their homemade rolls and cake. Will return soon.

The food has always been quite good at Noah's. If you're looking for high-class atmosphere, however, this is not really the place. While clean and satisfactory, you probably wouldn't want to take the lady you're trying to impress. Noah's has been around forever ... and, hopefully, has a long future.

Noah's Ark has the best pizza in town. I love their thin crust pizza because it's crispy and tasty; we like it with Italian sausage and mushrooms - add some extra cheese and and extra sauce and away you go! Don't forget to order a salad because their dressings are all made in-house and DELISH!

Best pizza in town? What a nice thing to say! Thanks for stopping by and spreading the good word (and advocating for the salad!). I'm looking forward to next time. Cheers, James - Owner More

First and foremost, for an Italian restaurant, you would expect the lasagna to be good - not the case. First time I've ever eaten lasagna with manicotti noodles. For the funeral's reception after the service, the choices picked were lasagna, pasta alfredo, and chicken. Onion rings were provided as a starter snack. They were great.

I'm sorry we didn't impress you more -- we want every meal to be perfect, and it's disappointing that wasn't the case for you. I hope you'll give us another shot to show you what we're all about. Thanks, James - Owner More

Raised in the Des Moines area, but had not eaten at Noah's in many years. The food is still excellent. Prices are about 10% higher than comparable restaurants in metro Phoenix, where we live.

we recently were invited to Noah's for a graduation on a saturday afternoon. What a horrible experience. There were reservations made in advance so there was no reason they should have been short staffed. Waitress was overwhelmed and never apologized for anything she did or did not do for us. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Also, Food... More

I can't tell you just how disappointed I am to be reading this. We work hard to serve up great food and match that with exceptional service, and I'm disappointed that you didn't experience exactly that. With that said, I would like to apologize for sending you away dissatisfied. And though I can assure you that we always take great... More

Our group of friends reconnected after more than ten years and chose our favorite old place. We had 6 PM reservations and even though they were very busy with Prom diners we were seated promptly at 6 PM. Our server was quick to bring water and get our drink orders. Upon delivering them, she brought delicious garlic knots and took... More

You don't know how nice it is to hear from a long-time customer -- really warms our heart! Sorry that we ran out of prime rib so early that night, but I'm glad that your steak hit the mark. We can't wait to welcome you back again soon. Cheers, James - Owner More

This is one of old classic Des Moines Italian restaurants. The pasta and pizza are excellent. The restaurant is usually pretty busy. There is a parking lot and street parking.
