I stopped here with some co-workers on our way home from a conference. I had heard about the "Walking Ched" and had to give it a try. I was not disappointed. Upon entering, we spoke to the host who informed us there was about a 20 minute wait for full service (with a server) or all the seating behind us... More

Great restaurant to enjoy several burgers that you will not see anywhere else - George Formaro is the chef and restaurateur behind some of Des Moines' most successful eateries – Centro, Django, South Union Bread Café, Gateway Market & Café and ZOMBIE BURGER + Drink Lab.

They had great food and shakes. I would avoid the nachos though but any of their burgers are solid including the veggie ones too.

We had three different burgers in our party, all were very greasy. Very difficult to eat as the toppings slide off of the bun. Nachos were ordered, not knowing they were deep fried, they were not good. If you are into fried, greasy foods, that are rather expensive, this place is for you, we would have preferred our money gone... More

This is a very unique restaurant with great burgers and malts. Make sure you arrive hungry and early as there is typically a wait. I highly recommend the Walking Chedd burger and the coconut cream pie shake.

We stopped by the Zombie Burger a Saturday afternoon at around 2 pm. There was a 45 minute wit for the full service restaurant section. We opted for the "fast food" section and we immediately found a seat, ordered our food and were on our way. This place is surprisingly simple in concept (burgers and fries and shakes) but it... More

If you are into Zombies, this is the restaurant for you! The décor and atmosphere is fun - with Zombie pictures on the walls, Zombie statues by the door, and t-shirts that you can buy to remember your experience. Warning: It is an extremely busy place, so be prepared to wait. The menu is amazingly unique with fun burger options... More

Good food, especially the malts, the somore malt is, "to die for". During peak hours almost impossible to get in to, but well worth the wait.
