Fun, kitschy dining experience

I'd heard good things about Zombie Burger and the experience didn't disappoint. The menu was extensive, with lots of options (though I definitely wouldn't come here if you're counting calories). I had The Walking Ched, which was a burger topped with macaroni and cheese, served on a bun made of deep... read more

Never been to a place like this! Very unique and the food was great! We had a bit of a wait but it was lunch hour and lots of kids visiting on field trips. So many choices and every burger had different toppings and condiments. Hard to chose from the long list. We enjoyed our first visit very much and... More

Good theme. Large selection of burgers and toppings and cool zombie names. Burger was good ,BUT it seems like their more concerned with adding goofy stuff to burgers rather than making the burger as good as it could be. For example my grilled cheese burger the cheese was not melted between the buns. Still Good, and very busy so you... More

When I first heard about zombie burger I heard that they can have anywhere up to a 3 hour wait just to be seated. Luckily going mid afternoon on a Sunday only meant about a 30 minute wait. Either way the wait was worth it. They have delicious and very unique burgers and good/ unique choices for drinks. Would definitely... More

The burgers here are delicious. I had the fried macaroni and cheese burger. I had to eat it with a fork and knife! The options were endless and I'm already excited about my next brother from there. The portion sizes are big and we couldn't finish the sides. Caveat: if you are from the south, you may want to forgo... More

I had the burger with blue cheese and caramelized onions along with garlic bacon and blue cheese fries. The burger was double sized. Everything was full of flavor and tasted great.Music was a bit loud and not my type and the buns need to be a littlebigger. Otherwise I give everything else a thumbs up.

Want a creative burger experience? Eat here. They've got more than just burgers of course, but the burgers are amazing. Fries are great too. Friendly, fast service & cool atmosphere. We are repeat customers!

we ate here because it was downtown and really different. I had a zombie burger made with tofu that was the closest thing i've had to a real burger ANYWHERE. the fries were good, prices were reasonable, all in all a cool place

All I'm saying is...if you are a foodie and you particularly like burgers this is a must stop! Des Moines is not a small town really so when we seen the wait to get in was about an hour we knew it had to be good. Given the wait time we all kinda assumed once we got a seat it... More
