Loved the atmosphere and outdoor seating. Went with the pizza which had alot of perfect combintion ingredients and was hot, which is key. Matt was very pleasant to deal with throughout the night. The bathrooms were very strong with a scent that was alittle overwhelming.

My wife and I stopped in for apps and a quick drink. We were no disappointed. The staff was on task and the entire restaurant is run very professionally and CLEAN!!! The egg rolls and the dipping sauce they served were really outstanding. We would have had more if we were not full. We will be back.

Pizza was very good, beautiful area, The big minus for me was that there was an extremely strong air freshener inside the front door and in the bathroom.. Hence the 1 part of my rating.

Had a great salad with shrimp--- huge in Iowa style and very fresh. Companions had the ribs--- huge serving with lots of sides, but delicious too! The deck is nice but the tables are super uncomfortable.

My wife and I were on vacation and stopped in for dinner one night. Quiet remote place off the beaten path, nice atmosphere. We ordered 2 half size pizzas and they were outstanding. The oven fired stove made the crust crispy. Was a nice place to stop for dinner, I would recommend the pizza!

The setting and atmosphere of McCaffrey's is breathtaking. I had heard nothing but good things about this place, and unfortunately, it did not come close to my expectations. For such an upscale setting, the quality of place settings (plates, cups, etc.) was sub-standard. Waitstaff were friendly, but slow and disorganized. I ordered the shrimp capellini, which was alright. The shrimp... More

I had been wanting to try McCaffrey's for a long time after hearing such great reviews, and unfortunately, I was let down. I thought it would be perfect and become a new favorite of mine, since I LOVE wood-fired pizza, and I always prefer thin crust over thicker crust. This crust was barely a crust at all. I felt like... My husband and I went on a Friday night to McCaffrey's, which is located in the country near Decorah. We crossed a historic bridge, recently shored up, and drove by a Liselund lookalike. We were seated instantly in a booth, having arrived early after work, despite it being Women's Weekend Out. My husband craved pizza, so we ordered the Junkyard,... More

Out side of town, sort of hard to find the turn-off to get there, but once you do, it is well worth it it. Great pizzas, thin crust for all of them. Lots of olive oils sed. Nice fmily feeling throughout the fcility

Located just a mile or so off the highway and close to the campground is the best wood fire pizza in the area, okay so it is the only wood fire pizza but it has been highly rated in the state). They also serve sandwiches and pasta. On some summer weekends there is live music and even if there is... More
