One of my favorite "fancy" places to eat. We save it for special occasions as it's more expensive. Everything tastes fresh and homemade, because it is! They change up the menu seasonally, so there's always something new to try. They also serve this amazing cheesy bread...wonderful atmosphere also with local artwork on the walls. Love it.

Very good food and service - a step up in dining experience in the area. Noise can be a factor if you want to visit with your friends. Very pleasant experience.

I've known Andy and Kim for a few years and their attention to detail to deliver a culinary experience is unmatched in the area. We enjoyed a bottle of Kim Shepard and the Hawaiian pizza to start. Our entrees included the blackened swordfish, pasta rubiyat, salmon with pasta and sirloin steak. We topped off supper with a couple of desserts... More

The Rubaiyat has great service, tasty food, and a nice wine and beer selection. Only negative is it could use more vegan and/or vegetarian choices.

The food was good but the price was very high. I don't mind paying that price but I expected fantastic food and fantastic service. The food was good but not fantastic and our waitress seemed arrogant

Very attentive service, relaxed atmosphere, great upscale restaurant with unique menu items, always changing art decor from local artists. Top restaurant in NE Iowa. Sunday brunch best pricing if you want a lower cost alternative manner of trying out this establishment. Need reservations almost always to avoid long waits or being turned away.

This is a very popular place for Sunday brunch and reservations are recommended. They have an excellent variety of selections on their menu, a Bloody Mary bar and the food we tried was outstanding. They had cinnamon rolls to die for. I had the biscuits and gravy which were incredible.

This was my first visit and was not sure what to expect. Although the prices are a bit high for the area I thought it was well worth the experience. Beautiful plating, freshly prepared and unique salads and entrees. Extensive beer and wine selection, although I would have loved to see some local wines on the menu. Fresh dessert selections... We, our daughter and fiance and my husband and I walked into Rubaiyat at my daughter's behest because she was famished after having had her engagement pictures taken earlier in the day. Rubaiyat was almost full, on the bar side, but we sat there, after two men moved over so we could line up in four chairs, as the young... More
