Good food, service in a good place to visit with friends

The Windrow Restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat with friends. If you feel "sporty" choose the sports bar, if you want to visit quietly choose the front. The food is good, prices are moderate, and there is a senior menu if you don't want to eat enough to feed a family of four.

Took family of 5 there while down visiting daughter. Went for lunch, cost us 67.00 for 5 burgers and fries. Terrible food. It tasted like those premade dense burgers you buy at Cosco or Sams Club in the stack. They didn't have flavor and dry. The fries tasted like fish. The waitress filled our tea glass with coke without even... More

Regular average fare for a community restaurant - the quality of the food can be uneven, depending upon the day and who is in the kitchen, but most of the time its pretty good food with generous portions. Soup/salad bar has a good selection, its ok, nothing spectacular. We don't usually eat beef in restaurants so I've never had the... More

We frequent here often and enjoy their variety of food choices. The prices are pretty good (less than $10 for lunch and around $10-15 for supper) and the food tastes great! The menu has traditional options (sandwiches, steaks, salad bar, breakfast buffet, daily specials) and some unique dishes that the owners put together (Melissa's Chicken). I love the Hickory Chicken... More

Mostly American food with a sportsbar in the rear rooms. Food is ok, they have a decent buffet on Sundays and holidays. Prices are very reasonable.Service is friendly and informal. Located right on the highway as you pass through town on highway 34

Ate here many times when working in Creston. This was my go to choice in town. They were always fast and food was good. Prices were also descent. This is a big step up from the burger joints and chain restaurants in town. Food was always consistently good.

The Windrow offers a wide selection of dishes for a reasonable fare (~$10 pp). The Hickory Chicken Melt is delicious and I really like their ranch dressing! Good service. The main area is family-friendly while the bar offers a good location for adults to eat and have a drink.

The pork tenderloin was really good. I always get one when I an in Creston. My husband had the ruben sandwich and he said it was good as well.

Good food in a small town. We have a monthly breakfast group and look forward to it. It's also a place we gather for special occasions. They have a buffet, daily specials, and a good variety of meals.
