Haven't dined here in awhile

They have a new menu, but we haven't been there for awhile. Maybe it's not so new. We were seated right away. The restaurant was fairly empty. The first thing I noticed was food all over the floor. The food was average to above average. Server was fairly attentive until we rec'd our food and then... read more

And I was trying to stay within a modest budget. Typical of the chain, no earth shattering revelations here. The steak in my fajitas was a little too chewy for my taste. And the fajita fixins', like the cheese, were skimpy portion-wise. Other than that, it was OK.

Being from Texas, we were craving southwestern cooking. We were delighted to find Chili’s. We ate at an odd time—2:00 in the afternoon and on a Monday. Sometimes you get stale, leftover food, but not here. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The only problem was the machine at the table to pay by credit card. It couldn’t find... More

My daughters and I visited Chili's for a late lunch after shopping at the Coralville Mall. Although the restaurant was slow due to the time we arrived, service was also slow. The hostess wasn't really friendly, and our server appeared tired and unmotivated. We waited too long for our food considering how slow the restaurant was. The food was greasy... More

My kids made this choice. Chilis has a great kids menu. The food is always good and tastes the same no matter what city you are in. Very dependable and reasonably priced.

The food is good for a chain restaurant and throughout numerous visits the quality has been consistent. Located in (or slightly next to) a college town many of the wait staff are college aged. We have had both great service as well as downright terrible service. More good than bad but with the seasonal nature of the staffing change the... More

We have eaten here on several occasions. It is not a bad place to eat. The food was good, and the atmosphere was ok. We had a good server. I would recommend this restaurant. It is a nice place to take the family. Good service. Carolyn H

the staff could definitely use some customer service lessons. very slow seating and seems like an hour to get a drink. usually have the wings and a steak when we visit, however try not to stop and look for other places. the chilis in davenport however has great service. management should really take these reviews and show the staff to... Not a big fan of chains.. food was "blah". I got the hamburger and it was very dry. Fries were ok..but the rest of the meal wasn't anything special.

We were in Iowa City for a sporting event at the Field House and had a few hours between games. Wanted to eat at the Hamburg Inn #2, but the wait was too long. We had a gift card to Chili's so decided to try it out. We were seated quickly. Service was friendly and relatively quick. Food was good,... More
