We visited this location 8/2/14 the parking lot is strangely designed but parking was adequate. Once inside we were promptly seated even though they were slightly busy. Our waitress came out promptly and took our order and even asked if it was our 1st time there as it was, we asked what she would recommend. The pulled pork was amazing.... More

We were visiting Coralville for the Junior Olympics and tried this BBQ place. Fast, friendly service. Was it the BEST pulled pork I ever had? No, but it was tasty. Good sized portions, even the lunch size was enough for 2.

Sitting in their parking lot after leaving almost my entire meal. It took a long time to receive my meal which I had hoped showed the care taken. The beef platter was noticeably dry when it came out. It tasted even dryer than it looked. The fries were tasteless - as if just opened from a freezer bag. The only... More

Inviting room, great wait staff, sad food. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade but I don't have a clue how this got to be a chain. The food is pathetic. Tasteless brisket, wilted brown bits in the salad, Unappetizing ribs, mushy green beans, and Brunswick stew that is simply inedible.

We stopped at this location during our vacation recently, as we were passing through and stayed at a motel across the street for the night. We actually have a Bandana's in our hometown, but this one beats it hands down! Very clean, friendly servers, and the food is fantastic!

Went for lunch and was very impressed of the staff. Friendly, helpful and well trained, made us feel welcomed. The food was ok, had a good smoky taste and was tender, but a little salty for my taste and I didn't feel the value was on par with the quality.

We loved our visit to Bandana's! Two of our party had a beef platter and two had pork. Both were excellent. The meat was flavorful, juicy, and tender. I think everyone's favorite was the garlic bread that came with it. Very buttery and not too much garlic. We all had the lunch platter, which is a little smaller than the... More

We got Bandana's for a large graduation party. Pork was good. Beef and turkey were not shredded but cut into chunks, which was strange. Sauce came in bottles labeled as their own ,but I wonder. Also came with sauce is packets. Silverware was individually packaged with very small plastic service and small cheap napkins. Back to Jimmy Jacks.

After a long flight from Dallas stopped in to Bandan's BBQ in Coralville for lunch and was surprised at the pleasant atmosphere and great tasting pork BBQ. Service was great and the price was reasonable.

We're from out of town and picked this place due to reviews. I'm a healthy eater but decided to do a less healthy and choose BBQ I was not disappointed. They had calories of everything on the menu and they had the regulars beef and pork but also had turkey and chicken. I got the turkey with green beans and... More
