We hadn't been to the TicToc for awhile and we discovered it has really gone down hill. The parking lot was nearly empty and the place was not very busy but it took nearly fifteen minutes for them to clear a table and seat us. Two groups of people who came in after us left by the time we were... More

This is a neighborhood bar with an unique dining experience. Just walking into the establishment, you are greeted with unique furnishing on the walls and the chandeliers. The staff is friendly and if you go more than once, they will soon know you by name and it is a cozy atmosphere. The food portions are plenty and we have never... More

Bacon Cheeseburger with fries was yummy. Not fast food. Had fried cauliflower appetizer, which was good. Had to bring half of my burger and some fries home, and heated up later for a good snack. Watching the locals in the place and talking/listening to the crew working added interesting color.

half order of cheesesticks is 3 pieces, but they are huge. come with a side of ranch for dipping. I had the Hollywood Burger. Came with all the fixin's already on it. Coleslaw was good, but not "to die for". My husband had the Tic Burger, which is served on bread (pumpernickel?) instead of a bun. He has been here... More

They have a lot to offer, quiet small bar atmosphere with big flavored eats. The smoked meats are great and the sandwiches are filling.

This place is certainly not fancy, but the hand battered cheese "logs" (yes, they are that big!), mushrooms, cauliflower and onion rings with their home made ranch dressing are to die for. My personal favorite sandwich is the "Ticky Chick Melt". It comes with a home made "creamy Italian" dressing which should really be named more like "honey mustard". I... More

Tic Toc is a landmark in Cedar Rapids. People come here for the cozy atmosphere (think the television show Cheers) and the food. Tic Toc is a corner bar tucked away in a quite neighborhood. There's plenty of room to belly up to the bar, or sit in one of their over-sized booths. The staff is genuine and prices are... More

We went on a Thursday evening and it was lively with a host of regulars at the bar and most of the booths and tables full. It's dark inside and seemingly cramped for space, but the eclectic array of collectibles and odd signs distract you from the hum of activity. The bar is U-shaped and sits in the middle of... More

Why Should You Go? I would almost say make a special trip to Iowa for these sticks. And there is enough other great food along the way - it's a great trip. And go see a Hawkeye game!!!!

14 of us went here for a coworker's birthday lunch. The service was great the food was super and we were out of there within an hour. 3 of us had tenderloins and we all were happy. The birthday boy had the Rolex, a hamburger with Swiss cheese, bacon, and mushrooms. He said it was delicious. I wouldn't recommend the... More
