Had a date night out with my husband and we were very happy we chose to go to DA's! Food was great and we loved the quite, relaxed atmosphere:)

Visited here expecting the same kind of experience we had when the place was Cafe de Klos, a number of years ago. What a disappointment! We were met by a man, wearing casual clothes who greeted us with only "Do you have a reservation?" Are you serious? This is the way customers are "greeted" at this reputed higher-end restaurant?? That... More

Went out with good expectations since it is priced at premium and had a small menu. Our local "guides" have been several times over the years and warned that the service and food was hit or miss in the last couple of years, but this was really understating what happened to us. As you can see by my reviews, I... More

I've only attended meetings here, but I love it so much I make a point to plan meetings here whenever possible. The meetings are held upstairs, if you have the chance ask a server for the history of the house--if you stay till closing you might even get a tour! Service is attentive without hovering, food is reliably delicious and... More

Great ambiance -- in an old house -- intimate dining area and lots of wood decor. Went on a Tuesday night and place was empty outside of the bar; only people eating dinner. Expected the menu to be more of a dinner menu with steak and seafood selections but was surprised that it was primarily sandwiches, salads and flatbread pizza.... More

The food is consistently excellent, with different fresh catch options every time in. They routinely put out superior fish dishes. The atmosphere and decor are the best in town. You just can't go wrong with DA.

The people of Cedar Rapids are so lucky they are to have this place to go to. The fried oysters appetizer was one of the best I have had, better than some of the best oyster houses on the East Coast, where I live. The bruschetta was creatively presented with goat cheese toasts and tapenade, and our entrees were sophisticated... More

My wife and I went here for our 20th anniversary dinner, as good choices in CR are hard to find. I had the scallops and was amazed - I have travelled all over the US and a lot of Europe, and these were the best I had ever had anywhere. My wife had the filet and actually ate the whole... More

We went to Daniel Arthur's for Valentine's day. The food was excellent. I can't comment on the menu as this was a special night with only a few options to choose from, but what we had was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was new, but did a very nice job. The decor is in an old victorian home and comes with... More
