Friendly staff. The food is good and the presentation is great. If you are in area it is worth the price .
Don't let the strip mall area that this restaurant is located in fool you. It is a very fine dining experience but not stuffy. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal there and decided it rivaled any restaurant we have been at in Chicago. A real gem in an unexpected area. Very unique entries and great presentation. We had... More
I been passing this place every day since I moved to Bettendorf so I wanted to give it a try. Once I went through I knew it was meant for an upscale dining experience and felt "eh, I'm in jeans and a T-shirt, with a fall jacket on, it shouldn't be that bad." It took the waiter a while to... More
I was shocked the first time we pulled in and it is literally feet from a gas station. Once inside we did have to wait to be seated, even though we had a reservation, but I understand that can happen. Very interesting food, and the staff was very polite. Very pricey, so I would possibly come back for a special... More
Since the remodeling of the restaurant, I have visited Red Crow Grille less frequently than previously. Why? Because the menu is of a type that you only eat there on special occasions. They did away with the bar menu expect for two items and one was a hamburger. The bar menu was a real favorite of customers before the remodeling.... More
Chef Eric prepared a fantastic six course meal with our input as to what food we were eating. The wonderful evening started with a fantastic a muse bouche. This prepared our taste buds. The first course was a lobster tortellini; it was fantastic with a savory broth. The second course was scallops with a wonderful relish. The third course was... More
Enjoyed a great meal here tonight. We have only lived in the area for a short time, and we try to eat at new places. From the outside, you would not expect what you find on the inside. A modernly decorated, open kitchen, classy restaurant. The menu was detailed, but not lengthy (which to me is a plus), a great... More
We dined there on July 25th and had one of the best dining experiences we have ever had! This is not coming from someone with limited experience, my wife and I have traveled extensively and look for fine dining whenever we travel. Chef Eric and his Sous Chef along with the other members of the kitchen staff could not have... More
Yes it's expensive. Yes it could have greater variety. But what they serve is magnificent. Their re-opening coincided with a birthday celebration and we decided to jump in. We had only eaten there a few times before the renovation and had been pleased, but the new and improved Red Crow is vastly more creative and interesting. Take a chance and... More
We were all excited to dine at the Red Crow, but unfortunately we were all disappointed. My scallops were undercooked and extremely spicy, while my husbands steak special looked and tasted more like stew meat. Definitely not worth the price.
