Went there looking for something unique and charming. Was all of that! Thrilled with the characteristics of old world charm. I doubt if there is another hotel like this one. Making it extra special. Too bad it is going to be changed. Glad we had the chance to experience. Thank you

The food is very good, although the sauce on the chicken Parmesan is a bit bland for me. Staff are very courteous and seem to be in too of things for the most part with the occasional momentary lack of attention. But they are humans. Brunch on Sunday is the best in the area In my opinion. They have it... More

Our flight out of the Quad Cities was cancelled so the airline put us up for the night. We had stayed here about 10 years ago and the place was run done then and by the looks of things it hasn't changed one bit. It's not worth the money it's old and dirty. We would have never stayed there except... More

The food at the Lodge Hotel is good. The hotel and restaurant is horrible. Our table had dried paint on it, there were light bulbs missing in every single chandelier, the upholstery on the seats were torn....and it was dirty. Would never ever spend money there again.

I have stayed at the Lodge many times. Usually stay when I go to concerts at I wireless. Staff always very nice, and the décor is very unique and charming. A great benefit of staying here is they shuttle you to the concert and pick you up...how cool is that? I was actually ta\ken to a concert in a limousine... More

We had Sunday brunch and it was ok; eggs were odd (too much dairy I think), waffles cold, toppings a mess. Desserts disappointing for the most part. Thought the options served in plastic cups were horrible both in taste and presentation. The pianist is nice but ask for a different table if you are seating next to piano; it's too... More

We had our class reunion here. The food and service, banquet facilities is good however , we chose to spend the night and the place is in need of updates. The elevators make a noise and it smells musty, sounds like water running while in elevator. Also warm in elevators and halls. When we opened out window in our room... More

The food was excellent for all in our party. Service was also quite good. German dishes were reasonably authentic. The atmosphere was interesting as well and did seem reminiscent of German places back in the old country. We really enjoyed our meals.

Stayed here for a seminar for business... Rooms are outdated with 19" TV and had no remote... Room smelled of musty odor.... You can tell this place is in need of some TLC.. Has creepy pictures in rooms.. Will never stay here again... Bar food is overpriced.. and resturant is dirty...
