This place has great food, the service was fast/friendly, and the prices are pretty good too. I'd definitely go back if I was in the area. If you're in town I'd highly recommend stopping in here for a burger.

A Purdue University student's must visit. Was featured on Guy F. Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. Not fancy in any fashion, but the burgers are really good. Old fashioned root beer available for sale ( in glass bottles). Can eat at the inside counter or outside at picnic tables ).

Traveling through the area, we spotted the billboard on the freeway. The advertisement stated it was on Drive ins, Diners and Dives TV show, so thought why not. I think it fell under all three of the names! Being lunchtime, it was packed with students and faculty of Perdue University and we had to wait a few minutes for counter... More

I went to Purdue to visit some friends and this was on the list of places to try. We tried to go for lunch and it was so busy we decided we should come back when it was less crowded. For dinner that night a few friends and I ordered breakfast for dinner. The people who worked there were very... More

I've been here during my first week of living in the US. I wanted to try a true American breakfast, very different from European one. I got bacon and eggs with hashbrowns. And a pancake with syrup. They were good. With good french toast included in the meal. I suggest this place, unless you want to pay with card. Only... More

The Triple XXX is a West Lafayette institution. I've lived here for many years and am I guess I'm in the minority, I've never thought it was anything special. Nothing in particular bad, but I thought the food was just average except for the root beer, which they make themselves and is very tasty. What you do get is the... More

A must eat while visiting Purdue! Burgers were so awesome and so was the chili! Even better when it's all together on a plate! Completed it with a root beer! Jalapeno ketchup is great! Bring your appetite and don't forget to bring CASH!

We ate here for lunch one weekday and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Now, it's not a very fancy place, just a fun college sort of place. The food was probably very bad for cholesterol but tasted really great. They make their own root beer, and the seating is old fashioned bar-style. I really enjoyed the chop steak cheeseburger, fries... More

Was at a conference and a group of us went to the Triple XXX for lunch. I had the Boilermaker Pete. It is a triple burger with cheese and grilled onions. The burger tasted great. It came with fries and a pickle. Both were good as well. It is an old fashion diner. If you want a lot of room... More
