You can't drive by and not wonder what is inside that funky orange building! We didn't know that Guy Fieri had been here, but we can see why. It is one of those "real deal" kinds of places that is fun and delicious at the same time. I'll be honest. It wasn't the absolute best hamburger I've ever had, but... More

My husband and I have been regulars here for several years. We keep returning because of the excellent service and consistently good food. I have never had a bad meal there, and the servers are very accommodating with my menu requests; it truly is cook-to-order. If you like hanging out with the locals, chatting with the wait staff and meeting... More

Eating here was a fun experience. There are only bar stools inside but there are a lot of bar stools. There were a couple of picnic tables outside. The staff were very friendly. We tried one of the burgers featured on the Diners, Drive In and Dives show. It was a burger with peanut butter on it! It was good.... More

Don't let the chance to eat breakfast or lunch here pass you by. Not only delicious homemade food, but value and history are included with your meal here. We came twice for breakfast and will be back again when we come to visit our grandson and watch him play basketball at Purdue. #boilerup and eat at Triple XXX, or their... More

Went to the Triple XXX Family Restaurant after a football game. Line was out the door, but it moved fairly quickly. Service was great and food is not fancy but tastes great. If you are not counting calories - get a shake - and/or try the "Drew Brees" - SO GOOD!!!!

My husband remembers coming here as a kid. Very 1950's. Hamburgers were good if you like skinny flat burgers. I, myself like those very fat juicy burgers. My husband had the Boilermaker Pete with onion rings and I had the Bernie Flowers All-Pro with fries. Try the onion rings they are good. The root beer was very good. We even... More

Retro burger joint that has some history. Kind of interesting and amusing to check out, but food is pretty much right out of the 50's. Nothing there for people who don't like fried animal flesh. It looks like most people ate thin, wide hamburgers fried on a grill, served with french fries. The root beer is pretty good, as you... More

Heard a lot about the place so when staying in Lafayette I had dinner there. The facility is small, crowded, and very typical of the 1950's roadside diner you'd find on Route 66 or elsewhere. Friendly staff. I had heard about the burgers. Looking around, they didn't seem very special so I opted for the breakfast. Very good, very traditional.... More

My friends and I stopped here for dinner after the Indy 500. We were staying in Lafayette, so not far of a drive for us (and we got to check out Purdue University when we were done). The waitress was helpful and efficient. My friends and I all had burgers - three of us had the one with peanut butter... More

Stopped in because of the triple D connection. My burger was very good. My kids got the burger with peanut butter on and liked it. Be aware it is several miles off of 65. And it was pretty crowded and seating is limited.
