I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza in this restaurant. I have to admit when I first walked in and saw how outdated the place looked, I had my doubts. It's a fairly large restaurant that was almost completely devoid of patrons when we visited it. My husband grew up around Valparaiso and swore I would not be disappointed by... More

Every time I am in the Valpo area I have to have some Tony's pizza! It is so good when it is right out of the oven, and still good the next day :)

Food is good, Owner is rude and charges for things you would get free at another restaurant. We asked for a box for our left over 3 pieces of pizza. We were charged for the Styrofoam container to take it home in. My husband ordered a beef sandwich to go and was charged for the aluminum foil to wrap it... More

Ordered 2 pizzas for carry out, one was fine the other the pizza shifted, looked like someone dropped it. There was 2 of us who went in to pick it up. Called them right away & they said no problem bring it back in. Owner openenly in front of dine in customers said that "we" had dropped it. Believe me... More

It's like a blast from the past. Kind of like being in the 60's or 70's. Definitely worth going too. Great atmosphere. If you're in Valpo check it out.

This place is an absolute throw-back. Pretty sure the decor hasnt changed since the 60's. However, the pizza is among my favorite anywhere. Originial crust, italian sausage, a few onions and yum yum yum. their sauce is tasty but not too powerful. friendly servers. no frills. just a friendly place to have a pizza, or if you prefer some pasta... my friend, who grew up here, wanted to show me how much better chicago-style is, compared to New York-Style (where I'm from) While I still like NYC of CHI, this was an absolute spectacular pizza. There's nothing bad I can say. It was great.

Not a fast food chain, but it is so good. The right sauce, the great service, and so popular for years.
