Strongbow restaurant in Valparaiso, IN was known for their famous turkey dinners. It was sold to new owners in the last several years. They ruined this well known eating establishment. It has now closed FOREVER! What a shame!

Prepare for a Mother's day feast everyday. Fresh turkey is the centerpiece, but various meats compete for your attention. Sides of all varieties abound and dessert is a waist-land of bakery acumen. Avoid holidays and post church Sundays as crowd approximates D-day

New ownership has ruined what had been a unique and high quality restaurant. Terrible hard wooden seat chairs and bar stools in the 'lounge'. Awful. Soiled and greasy carpeting in dining room. Un-infomed servers. Complete collapse of a formerly great restaurant.

This is not the wonderful Strongbow turkey you remember. New ownership attempting to keep it open a few more weeks, they may as well close today. The food was horrible! And I am a long time lover of the old Strongbow turkey, no one cooked it so well, including grandma. I had a turkey pot pie which consisted of a... More

It's not possible for 1 company to own the corner of NW In and do a good job. Don't you have enough money?

Unfortunately Strongbow's is closing in April. Their bakery was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. We had several Christmas parties and it was always very cheery. When they changed hands things kind of went downhill.

Strongbow used to be a very good restaurant, but just like it did with its takeover of County Line Orchard, Luke Oil lost what made Strongbow great. So sad to see yet another independently owned business get taken over by a corporation and ruined for profits.

the food is exceptionally -- BLAND and BLAH...like eating cardboard. Turkey pie was mostly gravy and peas....coffee was cold, and almosphere...cold...not recommended.
