Best Paella Marinera you can find!

Have just been back to Valparaiso and decided to go again to Don Quijote... The restaurant didn't let us down. Their paella marinera is to die for. Great food - Wonderful service The waiter could not have been more accommodating when I ordered a Cocktail he had not prepared before he looked it up and fixed it. The gazpacho was wonderful, deep fried artichokes were delicious, and the paella was very good. The ambiance might be considered theatrical - looking more like a stage set for Man... More

I have eaten at Restaurante don Quijote about 5 times over the years. I have never been disappointed. The most recent visit was this past Valentine's Day. When we arrived for dinner, my husband and I learned they were offering a special Valentine's Day dinner: 2 appetizers, an entree (choice of 3, I think), a dessert for each and a... More

We spend some time in Spain and love Mediterranean food. We had a great evening, Carlos was a great host. We had a table of 10, of which a couple were very picky. At first I thought we would have a problem with the music and talking, but the music was great background and did not drown out our conversations.... More

This is a mixed review. The food was very good, came in a reasonable amount of time and was hot. The bad was the service. When we arrived the restaurant was not crowed - inside or out - and the patrons there looked to all have been served. It appeared, at least, that the servers were not over whelmed. We... More

Very fun atmosphere and very good food. The jamon de serrano is a must as is the garlic potato salad. If you want something totally different from the norm, it is the place to go.

I wanted to pick a restaurant for our 4th Wedding Anniversary and I could not have been more pleased with my pick. We honeymooned in Madrid, Spain and Don Quijote brought that day alive once again. Love, Love the decor of the restaurant, brought us back to the streets of Spain. Food was wonderful. For starters we had the shrimp... More

Just ate at Don Quijote tonight for the first time ever. I dined in with a friend because I heard through the grape vine that on Tuesday it's half-off Sangrita and Tapas. Well, not only was this true, but the waiting staff was excellent. In particular, our very own server was Becky, an she went above and beyond to make... More

Our server was great, very attentive, split the checks and offered dining suggestions. The Tapas was excellent and our friends had the paella and loved it.

I have eaten at this establishment 6-10 times over the course of a few years. However, I have not returned in almost 1 year. The food was good. It was not exceptional. I would still most likely make a night of it occasionally but was offended by the behavior of one of the owners towards my girlfriend and I. She... More
