My husband and parents went for dinner on a weekday night. Upon arrival our car was the only car in the parking lot which is always a bad sign. For the two hours we were there, we were the only guests. Now we know why. Our shrimp appetizer was not cooked ...it was cold in the center and it was... More

We were very skeptical to re-try Pino once again, but at the end we were very pleased with the quality of the food. This place used to be king of Italian food in town but has done down hill since Pino died. The restaurant has gone up and down. I have to admit the last visit was a worthy trip.... More

Referred by our hotel after asking for a local recommendation. Fantastic menu and delicious veal picatta and stuffed veal with pasta and salads. Very good balsamic/olive oil combo for bread dipping. Reasonably priced wine and dessert. Good service and friendly people. So much better than the chain Italian fare.

This restaurant was recommended by the young man at our hotel and we were glad we took his advice. They claim everything is made to order, so for pasta you can choose which variety you want and which sauce you want on it. Apparently you can also ask for half orders although I didn't hear this mentioned until after my... More

A group of my friends who gets together once a month always plans an out of town shopping and dining evening each December. We chose Pino's for our annual Christmas dinner together, calling a week ahead for reservations. There were six in our group with 2 or 3 of us who had dined here previously a few years ago. When... Italian food in Terre Haute used to be Pinos. Then Pino died and I was probably spoiled before but I an not a fan as I used to be. The waiters are still excellent but the food is only ok. I would always get mussels as an appetizer and could almost make a meal of them they were so huge.... More

Pino's is under new management, again. And thankfully so! We had been to Pino's prior to the most recent new management...and were not pleased at all. We went back hoping things would be better. They were! Great food. Wonderful atmosphere. Wonderful service. I'm vegan and they offered several meals I could eat. We will be back! Very pleased.

We were directed to this restaurant by the front desk at our hotel. We should have known better than to eat there when we walked in and there was only one other table occupied. But it was 7 pm on a Thurs. so we didn't expect it to be busy. We ordered a shrimp appetizer, the one we asked for,... More

Can here on the recommendation of a local who later admitted he hadn't been here since it changed ownership. The food was fat ladden, flavorless and dry. Whoever heard of pesto that was red and tasted like salsa? All six of us got different dishes and all six of us were disappointed and remarked we should have gone to Olive... More

We went here based on the other reviews and was not disappointed. We had the calamari appetizer and the Eggplant Parmesan. The portions are very large we split the dinner and the appetizer and it was more than enough. The calamari was tender tasty and not at all chewy the lemon garlic sauce for dipping was awesome. The same with... More
