Nothing fancy - inexpensive - local dive

OK - first things first - let's say it is NOT fancy or new, and could stand some deep cleaning. Now as to the food. There is no way you would call it traditional by a long shot. But, the food does have flavor, it's not bland, it's not expensive at all. I have been eating here for 30 years... read more

My family enjoyed Taco Tico when they were in our area years ago, and only recently had the opportunity to try Taco Casita. We were delighted by the similarity. Good food, cheap price, satisfied our Mexican cravings, Give it a try.

This place is cheap and fast Tex Mex food. If you are on tight budget, this is the place to go. I brought my daughter and her friend here and the three of us ate for less than $12. The food wasn't bad. We all had tacos. You have to pay for drink refills. We came for lunch and the... More

Affordable and tasty. They haven't changed much about their menu or operations in decades. Beats out Taco Bell and cheap price. My family ate there all the time when I lived in Terre Haute and I hit up a location whenever I visit.

I have been eating at Taco Casita since I was a kid. Nothing beats the wet plate! Always tastes exactly as I remember it when I return to Indiana.

A Terre Haute Classic. My favorite Taco Joint in the world, and I have done some travelling... Don't expect anything but a greazy ol" Taco Joint and don't expect it to be elegant. You can however expect great junk food at great prices. I LOVE TACO CASITA!

My friend invited us to meet him for lunch at Taco Casita. We got there and ordered 4 soft tacos,4 hard tacos and a wet sancho. The food was barely warm, not much meat in them and overall was a bad experience. The best part was the drink.Stay away and find another place.
