First, I had heard nothing but good things about this place. I called 3 weeks ago to ask about a reservation for my anniversary today. He told me no problem. I didn't call again until a few days ago. I left a message and another and another, but never a return call. After arriving in Terre Haute, we drove by... More

I don't know how to describe our experience. This place is like nothing else I have ever experienced. And in Terre Haute? We perused the maps on the walls while our lunch was being prepared. We were not ready for the amount of food that was presented. Oh my? We needed ten more people to eat all of this. We... More

We were in the area for my Mother's 90th. We were from OR, MT, VA, DC and IL. Trying to find something real, something interesting, non chain, non fast food. Paris/Terre Haute can be kind of a desert in that regard. But this place looked interesting. And boy it is. You must make reservations and you better make them far... More

We love this place as a whole family and and as a couple. Jeff treats us as close friends everytime we dine there. Soooo much food and so flavorful. No comparison in Indiana

Ditto to everything everyone else has said about the scrumptiousness of the meal..... "feast" is a better word. Unbelievable variety and quality of food....it just keeps on coming. Expect lots of leftovers. Bring your own drinks if you want something other than water......but don't drink too much; you want your taste buds to be in top form for this delight.... More

Our son and his wife made reservations and took us to Harry and Buds during our visit from Texas, and as far as restaurants go, it's all downhill from here. Wow! The ambiance takes you back to sitting in Grandma's kitchen at the old Formica table, with the aroma of wonderful surprises cooking on the stove and in the oven.... More

This is not normal food. This is what I imagine Kings and Queens eat like. I have never seen or tasted anything so amazing. If you're going out to be pampered in a ritzy place, you won't be happy. It will take a while to be presented with food but when you are, it's at first overwhelming as you watch... More

Unbelievable meal! Great food, cool atmosphere made Harry and Buds a great place for an anniversary meal. The owner chef Jeff served up an over the top meal of lamb, beef, pork, shrimp and so much more with each dish off the chart good. Side dishes and desert and interesting home town conversation topped the night off. Go if you... More

had the supreme privilege to dine at this eccentric little restaurant with a group of eight. long wait for the food (but i was warned) and you may BYOB. once the dishes started coming, they kept coming - each and every one prepared superbly and perfectly - jumbo shrimp as large as small lobster tails, grouper on a bed of... Never tried anything like this before. Jeffery gave us three hours of fabulous food. We had enough food for 12 - 16 people, and took home lots of leftovers. Each individual dish could have made the entire meal. We had shrimp, crab, beef lamb, salmon, and tuna, with sides that were even better. All made fresh and while we waited.... More
