First off, if you have ever eaten REAL BBQ, this place will thoroughly disappoint you. The prices are way too high for what you get, quality and quantity wise. If they ran a half price special it still wouldn't be worth it.

Great BBQ, and a really cool restaurant. Stop in, try the brisket, and check out the history of Terre Haute, proudly displayed all over the walls of the Historic Wassell Inn. Everything from photos and mementos from the old City Basketball Tournaments to handbills and posters from great old music acts from Terre Haute and the Wabash Valley. Absolutely worth... More

Had the Pork, Beef and Chicken as take out with beans and salad. It was really good and moist. Best I have had above the Mason-Dixon line.

We love this place and go there often. For lunch I usually get the BBQ bowl and if I'm there for dinner my favorite is the brisket. The atmosphere is great and most decorations are local and historical.

We were traveling west on I-70 and approached Terre Haute around lunchtime. We saw a sign for Rick's and we had the taste for barbecue. So, we decided to give it a try. We thought it was about 2 miles off the interstate down hiway 41. However, we had to take Wabash Ave. off of 41 and go another 2... More

We usually go to Rick's for lunch. Only had to wait in line one time and that moved quickly. Love the mac n' cheese. Their brisket is really good. I like that they three sauces are on the table. We've found the wait staff very courteous and the place is usually clean. They 'could' use larger restrooms.

This is an interesting barbecue place. As you enter the door you approach the counter. Above there is a list of items you can order. You place your order at the counter and if eating in, you get your cup and a number to place on your table. I am thinking this may not be a great pace for barbecue.... More

We like the food here......fast service. The pulled pork was the best. Husband got the brisket and he didn't care for it at all. They have a nice selection of sides to go with your meal. Reasonable priced. Don't go there enough to give it a 5

Visit the Terre Haute area on a frequent basis and always make a point to stop at Rick's. The food is well prepared and tasty; pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. The portions are not huge, but sufficient quantities for the price. A great casual place to grab a meal.

Friendly staff greet you as you walk in and assist with description of meals and items offered. Great portion size and good tasting food. The Pulled Pork is wonderful with awesome sides to choose from. Neat atmosphere for a family meal! I would recommend highly for a down home meal!
