Real crab in the crab cakes with a very nice sauce! I never had so many dips for bread that taste so good mixed together! My pork chop with the cranberries/blue cheese crust was mouth watering. The white chocolate/raspberry cheesecake had real chucks of chocolate in it! The dinning room was causal and elegant with a nice romantic feel. Busy... More

Jeff Ford's has the best food in town. We have been coming here since they opened and have never had a bad meal. The staff are awesome and the owners actually care about the place. We always have the best experience every time we come. Cannot say enough about this place.

We showed up early evening (6pm) on a Saturday night in December without a reservation. They were very busy but offered us seats at the bar. Every member of the staff bent over backwards to be nice and accommodating. The drinks were good but the salad and steak was amazing. The busy bartender took time to chat too. A very... More

I've gone past this restaurant hundreds of time since I was a little kid, on the way to the mall. I was staying in a nearby hotel recently and decided to try it. It's a wonderful place. It's elegant. The servers were knowledgeable and attentive. We ordered appetizers and salads. The food was outstanding.

This place was an unexpected surprise. The cuts of meat were excellent and the baked potatoes were spot on, If there was anything that was less then perfect, it was the cheesecake. But by that point in the evening, I was so full, it really did not matter. This place is small, so reservations might be a good idea, but... More

I have been to J Ford's three or four times. I have never been disappointed with any aspect of the restaurant. I have only dined in two 5 star restaurants in my life. One in St Louis and another in Charleston, SC. J. Fords is definitely in the same league with the finest restaurants I have visited. My only regret... More

We didn't have a reservation, but they immediately seated us. The atmosphere was nice. My husband ordered a filet, which he said was very good. I ordered a rib eye and I really didn't care for it. It was huge, but very hard to cut and tough to eat, even though it was cooked to perfection. It was $45...definitely not... More

My husband and I went with another couple to celebrate their wedding anniversary. We'd never heard of J. Ford's before--but we live about an hour from Terre Haute. The outside of the building in no way prepares you for the food you are about to experience! We arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation, so we went into the bar.... More

Prepare yourself for a memorable dining experience! We entered the restaurant and my first thought was that we were seriously underdressed, but then I realized that much of the wait staff was wearing T-shirts and jeans. We were served by the most attentive, knowledgable, and courteous servers found anywhere. The food was meticulously prepared and every bite was a delight,... More

First time but definitely not the last time. I had no idea Terre Haute had a place worthy of a much bigger city. A true 5 star kinda place. Every detail was there. Food, atmosphere, drinks, staff are all there. It was a truly memorable meal and a very pleasant surprise.
