Yes, it's a little scary from the outside. True, it primarily caters to carry-out customers. Indeed, it's only open in the latter half of the week. However...this is one of the better BBQ restaurants I've ever been to. I've traveled all over the United States, and I can say without hesitation that Homey's BBQ sauce is the best I've ever... Get Ribs and Chicken. What a great taste and friendly staff (mostly family). All sides are homemade. They will cut the Ribs in front of you and don't forget to ask for some extra sauce.

You know those little, old run-down places where they sell the good stuff? Might be blue crabs in Maryland or gumbo in Louisiana or Italian beef in Chicago. Yeah, those places where you get the real deal. Well, you want 'cue, you go to Homies. They do mostly carry-out, but go ahead and eat it there. Friendly!!!

This is not in the nicest location and it is difficult to find. You will not be sorry if you take the time to find it. Mouth watering BBQ. Payton Manning used to frequent this place when Colts camp was in Terre Haute.
