We had the worse waitress I've ever had. She was nasty and rude. The place was dark and smelled like mold. Also, only 1/4 of the already small menu was offered. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

It's kind if dark and by all means not a pretty building!! If you get a seat outdoors though its beautiful!!! A fire is set in the middle!!! The food and service is good!!! The place is full of locals who know the owner!! It great to see everyone chatting!!!

This is the best place to eat in this resort community. Great lake atmosphere. The employees, as well as the owner, go overboard to make sure your meal is an "experience". Reasonably priced with a 1st class menu. From large breaded tenderloins to a great steaks, just the way you ordered it. Try to get reservations as this is a... More

Chip and all the wait staff are terrific. They are very accommodating. It is not noisy and always nice to run into people we know there.

We both ordered the breaded pork tenderloin and each of us took half home for lunch the next day. These are very thick and huge! These were close to the best Indiana tenderloins we've had in recent years. We also had the onion ring appetizer, half size which was still large. Great crispy breading, but a little on the greasy... We probably go to dinner at this restaurant on average twice a month. The service is very good and the servers and bar staff all friendly. They have done a lot of remodeling and it looks better all the time. Nice to see them putting money back in instead of just taking it out. For food, they have great seafood... More

My friend gave a surprise birthday party for his wife. It was an open bar and appetizers. Reservations were for 20 but 27 people showed up. The waitress and other people working in the restaurant were very gracious and accommodating to set up more tables. They allowed us to decorate and bring our own birthday cake. The appetizers were plentiful.... More

Disappointed with the strip steak which is normally pretty good. Enjoyed sitting outside in the patio area, as the inside is typically very noisey. Service staff was very attentive and friendly. They just need to upgrade the quality of the food. Wine list is very limited with some pretty poor choices.

I recently dined at the Sleepy Owl in Syracuse and had their breaded tenderloin. I have eaten there many times and had great service, and great broasted chicken, but had not tried the tenderloin. It is fantastc. It is gigantic, but the thickes meat inside that I have ever had. The meat is actually obtained from a local butcher in... More

We eat here very often day and night. My lunch special is the grilled cheese and a cup of soup. Louie does a great job. And the price is terrific. $4.99. Service is also very good. The prime rib is terrific. Oh and don't forget the 50 cent ice cream with chocolate. Yum
