Coming from the northeast, finding good pizza when traveling is often a challenge. Polito's solved that problem for us.....twice! Had some Chicago style on our first visit, which although not quite as good as Lou Minalti's , was certainly tasty. We went back after the game on Saturday evening, and had a more traditional pizza, which was HUGE, and very... More

called in the order & it was hot & waiting when I got there. The original (thin) crust is the best. This is our second year for going there & both times were great experiences.

Had dinner at Polito's on June 28,2014 with the grand kids. They loved the pizza but we found it hard to eat - the crust is thick and hard to cut. Don't make the mistake of putting spinach on your pizza - they use creamed spinach, yuck! All the portions are extremely large , the calzone would serve three people,... More

Yes, 16 lbs. We've enjoyed Polito's before but THIS was really special. They have a Supreme Pizza that actually weighs in at 16 lbs! It was my son's birthday and he chose this. I had my doubts as there was only 3 of us. Next time, I will order as we start out from home as it takes 40 minutes... More

We'd passed Polito's before but never stopped. We're glad we did. Adrian, our waiter, made excellent recommendations and even brought a sample for us. We ordered the large thin-crust supreme pizza, which was excellent. Adrian suggested a side of their specialty vodka cheese sauce for dipping the pizza. It was superb. We received plenty of good, well-prepared food for our... More

Good stuff. If you want to load up on the carbs this is the spot for you. Stuffed pizza slices that weigh in at 2 pounds and strombollis that can feed two all for less than 10 bucks. The interior is nothing special just some wood benches and folding tables has kind of a college vibe.

I love cheese pizza and this place has a pie that will rival even the best in the area. The thin crust is NY style and the sauce is tasty - and not sweet. Their vodka sauce is great as well - it's a bit thick for me and I usually don't indulge, but it has a great flavor. Their... More

This is one of the best pizza/pasta places in the area. We went there the first time by accident due to every other restaurant was packed. But I am glad we did. The food never disappoints. Between the HUGE breadsticks and the awesome garlic bread. Along with the huge New York size slices of pizza and overflowing sauce that comes... More

It's probably the best in town but if you're there by yourself or with one other person then you don't have the opportunity to try their signature pie. the thin is good and there's 2 styles of pan. their signature pie is prepared 2 different ways. it's 16 pounds of meats, veggies and cheeses, but when you come by yourself... There are lots of pizza places in our city. This has to be one of the best. The pasta dishes are also wonderful. The serving sizes are MASSIVE. Besides the awesome pizza our favorites are the calzones and ravioli in vodka sauce. Wait staff is friendly and folksy. Service is attentive and fast...especially at lunch.
