An Emerald Isle in the middle of South Bend

Wow,true Irish pub. No wait time, excellent service. a craft beer selection to brag about and a true red haired Irish lass as server. A live sound stage with Irish and Gaelic music. I had the Salmon filet which was impeccably cooked and presented, highly recommended.

We had an early dinner here and everything was great. Service was top notch and the Reuben was the best I ever had. The corned beef was like no corned beef I ever had. It had a unique homemade quality you don't find too often. I would definitely go back.

On a business trip stopped here for dinner. Meet great people and had very good fresh food. We choose the dinner for two. Great deal , nice beer. We what just to eat and stay for 4 hours. Hear live music and love it. Wish I could stay longer.

If you like authentic fish and chips, this is the place. Served wrapped in the South Bend Tribune! Many delicious draught choices and bountiful single malt scotch selections. There was live music, also. A really fun atmosphere with shared seating, just like across the pond.

Yes, Fiddler's Hearth is a restaurant, but that doesn't really do the place justice. Whenever I have friends or family visiting, I like to take them here to prove that there ARE interesting places to go in South Bend :) They have a unique selection of menu items (gluten-free and vegetarian friendly items as well) and an extensive list of... We were in South Bend for a wedding and, based on some research, went to Fiddler’s Hearth and were very happy we did. The staff was very friendly and, especially the young man behind the bar who wore a hat (did not get his name), helped make our short stay in South Bend enjoyable. The outside may not at first... Visited many times. Good central town location. A nice mix of patrons. Everyone feels welcome. A broad enough menu, something unique for all. Plus old standards (grilled cheese and fries). Best thing though is the presence of very well tended cask ales. They know what they are doing.

What a fun little gem. Our family of 6 really enjoyed the open seating. We sat next to an interesting couple. Food was pretty good, atmosphere was nice.

We have been here many times, it is a friendly pub , and have outdoor seating in the summer time where pets are allowed. We had their fish stew the last time we were there and it was excellent. Always good service here too. Very clean, with books and games for the kids. We love taking out of town people... More

We arrived in South Bend tired and hungry. The Pub served great food and good music. There is open seating which means that you may be sitting at a table with other folks, so be prepared to be cordial. They served gluten free entrees. I had Shepherd's Pie gluten free and it was delicious. My husband had fish and chips... More
