My wife and I had the thrill to attend the Notre Dame vs. Stanford game on Oct. 4, 2014. The weather was uncooperative though inasmuch as it was bitterly cold (for a South Texas boy) and the rain mixed with sleet did not help much either. We left Notre Dame Stadium during the 3rd quarter along with many others. It... More

I frequently go here to get beer and occasionally food. This is one of the only places in the Michiana area where one can get a great variety of craft beers, all on draft. So, if you like beer...this is the place for you. If you don't though, they still have a stocked bar of fine whiskeys and spirits for... More

not much open in downtown South Bend on a Sunday evening, so we were greatly satisfied finding this to be open. Great selection of craft brews, fabulous service, and a fine menu to choose from. I had the signature salmon dish and was very pleased. Wife had a grilled pork chop and was equally pleased.

We had dinner here on a Friday night in August while stopping in South Bend to visit a friend, en route from NY to CO. The place was hopping! There were families with little kids, couples of all ages, college students, "mature" women, and groups of friends. The decor is Celtic Pub with some Notre Dame thrown in. Our waitress... More

A nice small place to have a quiet lunch during the week. Good food and good service. My only complaint is that it is a little dark. They should consider better lighting.

Loved the food and the family style seating! EVERY order was tasty and very well done. The waitstaff was very helpful in helping us order.

We ate dinner here on a Wednesday night when it was Acoustic Open Stage night. This is a small restaurant and it was easily packed but we only waited about 15 minutes for a table (there are some outside tables as well). The live music was really great to listen to, the place is loud due to the music and... More

I want to like this place, but the food has become very disappointing. My Rueben sandwich was the worst version of a Rueben I've ever been served. Although the menu says they don't use nitrates so their corned beef isn't pink, the meat was more like sauerbraten than corned beef. It didn't tasted like corned beef and was stew-like in... More

We had originally walked into a fancy steak house down the street from this place and quickly realized not for us and walked out. So glad we did because we ran into this place which is amazing! Best Reuben sandwich I think I have ever put in my mouth. I can still taste it. The shepherds pie was fantastic. Smoked... More

Pub staff was friendly, food and live music were good and was a short walk from the Oliver Inn. Would recommend.
