Authentic Lebanese

Don't kid yourself - this is a Lebanese restaurant. Which is a good thing! All the food we've had there has been great. I'm partial to stuffed grape leaves and my wife loves the kibbie, so we order both and share. Hummus and tabouli are also must-haves. The portions are huge, so be prepared to... read more

I Elia's on the the way to a baseball game and I was thinking that it looked interesting. I had the Shish Tawouk with a Lebanese side salad, it was amazing. My mom had the Grilled Salmon with a Lebanese salad and she said it was excellent. We had the vegetarian grape leaves for an appetizer and they were phenomenal.... More

Ate here with some locals while passing through and glad we did. The food was tasty and nicely prepared. The service was great. I now know why the people who live in the area eat here!

We took the advise here on trip advisor and were not disappointed. The waiters was very patient with us and walked us through the menu. The amount of food was more than enough and the price just made it a great deal. We are already planning our next visit. Even the kids found the menu desirable, a double plus.

This is a pretty good place in the South Bend area...certainly a great value as the entrees are inexpensive. After a couple mediocre experiences at other South Bend restaurants, we decided to order something that wasn't too 'exotic', so we settled on gyros. We were pleasantly surprised. Next time we go, I'll try falafel or something more mediterranean. Our server... More

The food is fresh and delicious. Pricing is affordable. While the menu changed from my prior visit, the shish tawouk was still featured and was tasty as ever. I went with a colleague for lunch to celebrate the holidays and the end of the calendar year. My favorite accompaniment is the garlic paste. It is a simple yet spectacular treat.

I went to Elia's Mediterranean Cuisine restaurant for the first time last evening. The décor is "modern" and pleasant. It seems very clean. Dimmed lights. I would say that the wait staff and the portions were adequate. The food was very good; nothing left to take home.

Fortunately, I live local and enjoy Elia's often. The authentic HOMEMADE food is so delicious that I actually crave it! My personal favorites are garlic paste, hoummos, baba ghannouge, vegetarian and meat grape leaf rolls, Greek salad, hashwi, and kafta. Portions are generous. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and it is extremely clean. Friendly service, too.
