Drink and eat and then repeat

One must have a pint, as a start, and the food, for bar food, was excellent. A menu with good choices. We had ten people and it took them less than five minutes to rearrange tables to accommodate us. A welcoming place.

Very close to campus. Food was pretty good. Service was adequate. Got the impression that we were not their ideal guests. There were 6 of us and only one of us ordered alcohol. We did order apps and 6 dinners, but got the impression the waitress was looking for a higher yield table.

Had lunch with a party of six family members at O'Rourke's recently. Although the atmosphere was nice and service adequate, both other members of our group and I were not impressed with the food. I had a loaded burger which was quite messy and just not that tasty. My wife had a salad which she reported as also uninteresting. The... More

We may not have been the biggest spenders in town, having just arrived from a long international flight and being very tired and hence not very hungry. And so we ordered only some wings and potato skins to share. The waitress put them on the table - no side plates, no napkins, no finger wipes. We had to ask for... More

Very good Sunday afternoon repast. Met some people from South Bend, pleasantly surprised.. Good drinks(Bloody Mary Special), and good food. Able to converse in the large room, not too noisy. Don't forget to go to the chocolate shop next door-yum!!

Burgers and fish and chips were excellent! Good value for good food--everyone in our party of nine was happy! Service a little slow though.

We arrived yesterday around 3 PM and the place was pretty much empty. Our waitress was friendly and the restaurant was inviting and warm. We ordered the fired pork belly skins with apple jam and they arrived in maybe 5 minutes and were very good. They had an excellent selection of beers which were around 6-7 dollars each. We then... Recommend: Burger Spinach strawberry salad School was out for the summer, so the place wasn't too crowded. The salad was made with fresh spinach strawberries and goat cheese. The burger was prime rib based flavorful and cooked perfectly maintaining its juiciness. I'm not usually a fan of Irish pub food but I was very happy with my experience.
