O'Rourke's Public House is a locally owned Irish bar located across from the University of Notre Dame. We are family friendly with patio seating available. We have a full bar and a great late night atmosphere, typically with life music or pub activities such as Trivia(Monday), Karaoke(Tuesday), Questionnairey(Wednesday), Mike Brey Radio Show or Brian Kelly Radio Show(Thursdays), Live DJ (Friday and Saturday)

Great pub grub

After a five hour drive, we decided to have a very late dinner here. I had the chicken wrap and it was delicious. The service was very good. This is a nice place to hang out with friends and have fun.

Despite the fact the place was packed and our server had to solo serve the group, the experience was great. Aimee our waitress did a fantastic job. Se... More

Loved the potato soup. Great atmosphere, lots of tvs and beer. We wanted to try the shots but didn't have room after all the food.

We came to this restaurant whole visiting Notre Dame for a tournament. We were seated quickly even with our large party. However, the waiter we had was extremely rude. Multiple times he clapped his hands and told us all to be quiet. Service was slow, we had to ask for refills 3 times before our drinks were refilled. While some... More

Avoid. The service is dreadful and the food a bit pricy. It took 35 minutes after we finished dining to get the check - and then the check had items we didn't order. They count on and take advantage of ignorant folks who want to go to an "Irish themed" place close to ND campus. I had the fish n... More

We ate here for dinner. Got seated promptly and greeted by friendly waitress who took our drink and food orders. I had a pub burger and husband had a wrap. Beer was good as was food. Burger was delicious! However, waitress brought wrong salad dressing with husbands side salad and wrong fries with burger. She was very sorry and took... More

Traveled to South Bend from out of town. This place was recommended by the hotel. Aimee was super friendly and welcoming which made for a great experience. Would recommend this place to people visiting!
