Description: LaSalle Grill is located in Downtown South Bend's oldest commercial building. Built in 1868 as the St. Joseph Hotel, the building has survived over 146 years. Converted to restaurant use in 1991, LaSalle Grill has become an institution in South Bend and the region. We have won the coveted AAA Four Diamond rating for 18 consecutive years, the longest run of any restaurant in Indiana. Our menu is rooted in USDA Prime and Choice steaks cooked over a live hardwood fire, Lamb and Pork chops, locally raised Chicken and Duck, Fresh seafood delivered daily, Vegetarian and Vegan options and seasonal game dishes. We have won the Wine Spectators Award of Excellence for over 15 years and employ the only Certified Sommelier working in a restaurant in the state.

Your dining experience will start the minute you walk in the door and you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming smile. Ours was conveyed by Andrew. This greeting sets the tone for the remainder of your dining experience which is very personalized. The service which is often synchronized is efficient and the presentation classy. Nice wine accompanied our appetizer of... More

On my latest visit to LaSalle Grille, I had an extremely enjoyable meal and still consider it to be a top choice when I'm staying in South Bend. The menu has been redesigned since my last visit, but most of the standard items are still there. I really like the addition of the raw bar and seafood starters and highly... More

My wife and I celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary at this restaurant. I must say that everything (from the reception to the dessert) was absolutely superb. The staff was courteous and friendly, and the food outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant for those who look for an outstanding dining experience.

I love the Kitchen and Tavern on the 3rd floor of LaSalle Grill. Great cocktails and service and interesting small plates. We get the bone marrow often and everything changes seasonally. Lots of bourbon and micro-brews to choose from. The atmosphere is relaxed and home-y. There is live music many nights which is always fun.

We dined here last night and tasted the BEST South American Wines. The food was great but we expect that since we've been here several times. Here's what we love; if a waiter, the sommelier, the host, anyone who walks by will stop what they are doing to answer a question or give an insight, the presentation of the food... More

Had my parents 60th Anniversary dinner here last night and we could not be happier. Excellent service, and excellent food. Not cheap, but well worth it. Very good beef and seafood. Two folks had the rack of lamb and loved it.

We could not have been more pleased with the catering provided by LaSalle Grill for our son's and daughter-in-law's wedding reception. Working with Laurel was delightful and comments by so many of their guests prompted me to write and share this experience. The hors d'oeuvres were spectacular (especially the little lamb chops) and the sea bass and filet were absolutely... More

My wife and recently hosted a rehearsal dinner party for about 70 people at the Lasalle Grill. We could not have been happier with the service, all the way from Laurel and Linda who helped with the planning to all of the staff that pulled off the perfect evening. And the food. The food was excellent. it was creatively prepared... More

After a long day of travel we were warmly welcomed at this very pleasant restaurant. Our server did a fine job of describing the menu to us. Drinks were brought promptly. Our food food delivered timely and at proper temperature. One of us ordered the pork chop dinner. It was nicely seasoned and properly cooked. I had the heirloom tomato... More

I was searching for a place to have dinner in S. Bend went on TripAdvisor and found the LaSalle Grill what a pleasant surprise this was. First off they had one of my favorite wines(Rombauer) on their wine list and it was priced very fairly. We sat at the bar the bartender McKinley was great so friendly and helpful. One... More
