This restaurant always seems to be busy, but we did not have to wait long to be seated. After being seated we immediately received glasses of water and a small loaf of fresh bread. I had planned on ordering just a sandwich, but noticed that entrees were about the same price. So, I order a fried chicken dinner (4 pcs)... More

Big restaurant, so wait for a table was not too long. After seating us, we were immediately served home made bread with the house peanut butter and apple butter. For lunch, we had the fish & chips, and also the platter where there was fried chicken, pork, and beef. Cole slaw was also served with the meals. We enjoyed our... More

The food was great and plenty. We stopped by the bakery and bought too many goodies. Their french dressing used in the resturant is also available in the bakery. I could eat salads every day using this.

We enjoyed the food at the Blue Gate Restaurant. My husband and I ate at the buffet. The food was very good. They also have family style or you can order from the menu. The fried chicken is very good.

The food was wonderful, staff were very pleasant and attentive. We bought the family style dinner with our concert tickets for the Blue Gate Theatre. The price and quality of food was excellent.

We loved the dining experience. The waitress recommended the broasted chicken saying is was a favorite choice by their diners. She was spot on. Service and cost were outstanding

I was very excited about eating some genuine Amish cooking, but it turned out to be the most bland meal I have ever eaten! Green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy were tasteless! Chicken and noodles dish was very dry with some nasty pieces of dark meat. Chicken tenders were extremely flat, and mostly batter. Fried chicken was good, but too... More

We had the fried chicken dinner & dessert, lemon pie & cherry pie. It filled up fast. There was young child screaming when he didn't get his way. Our waitress was very nice.
