We stopped in for a snack/dessert and were happy with the food. One of us had cheesecake, one had boston cream pie, and one had a brownie sundae. Grandmas Pancake house has something for everyone. From Greek, Italian, to old fashioned Liver and Onions. The food portions are very generous, and the quality is extremely good. We have taken our family there at least once a month for the past year. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Prices are reasonable as well.

Ive been here many times and no one can beat their variety and unique offerings. That being said iam not happy with their prices. We can't seem to get out of there for less than $30 ! Breakfast or lunch. Not all their food is good. I would stay away from any american type food like pasta or hamburgers. Whereas... More

Looked in to the TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. Restaurant is really in the centre of downtown with parking place next to it. The ambient is very plasent an stuff is really friendly. They offer vast variety of dishes for breakfast. You can choose between egg omlets, egs sunny side up, US and EU type of panckcakes,... More

This place has some of the best cakes outside of my mamas kitchen. If you're in town, to go to the casino, stop here first!!! It's worth it

Planned on visiting the casino in Shelbyville after a company meeting and read about Grandma's Pancake House. Read some fantastic reviews about this place and thought I'd give it a try. Boy...good decision on my part. My friend and I were greeted at the door by a very friendly host. Our server was a happy camper and brought us our... More

Despite being housed in what's clearly a former Hardee's, Grandma's is a solid breakfast and lunch joint. Service was friendly and attentive; price was right. Recommended: take grandma's advice; get the pancakes. Come hungry.

Not just the staff either. The food is just like homemade!! Depending on the time of day you are there, the delivery of the food is excellent. We usually go for breakfast but the other meals are delicious also..

My goodness this was a great find. We tried a skillet and the bacon & eggs with a side of biscuits & gravy and it's plenty of food actually more than enough. Service was good and the prices are comparable to a Denny's ( which I would never eat at).
