Not Good

Have been there a couple times for breakfast and have disappointed every time, food not good and over priced. Most bars have good food, but not here

We were looking for a local alternative to fast food chains while travelling on I-65. Hardy's Home Place was recommended to us by the gas station. It is located on the main town square behind the courthouse (southwest side of square). If you have time in your travels, I recommend this stop, if nothing else you can stretch your legs.... More

My husband and I both looked at each other when we walked in the door and thought we should leave and after we ate there we knew we were right with our first impression. We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich which was nothing more than a frozen chicken patty with a piece of ham and melted cheese over it on... More

Looking for something local so we stumbled into Hardy's Cafe. Had a great server who recommended a chicken sandwich with "boom boom sauce". Liked it. Beer was cold and place was laid back. Had a good experience.

I love to eat at locally owned restaurants as often as I can so when I found myself in Scottsburg needing to eat, I chose Hardy's Cafe because it looked like a local Restaurant. First off, the Diet Coke and Lemonade tasted terrible. My Son and Daughter didn't even drink theirs because it tasted so bad. I'm not sure why... More

Hardy's food is way overpriced. We got hamburgers that were dry and fries that we old...Paid way too much...Seems they are cutting corners to save money.

Do yourself a favor and stop at the Cracker Barrel on the interstate instead. It took 10 min to place an order and nearly 25 min to get the food to the table.... And we were the only two people there! The waitress was nearly non existant and we should have left. We ordered the fruit and walnut salad with... More

If you are in town, this is a good place to get a quick bite to eat and a quick drink. Nothing too fancy about this. They made the family room a few years ago which is non-smoking. Last time I was in there, they switched to Coke products which is a plus. Food is pretty good and quick. Not... More

This place is actually perty cool. Only been there a few times and have enjoyed 25 cent wings. They had 5$ all you can eat pizza one night when I stopped in but the pizza was not impressive. It seems like a locals hang out and as I am new to the area I felt sorta like an outsider. There... More

Stopped at Hardy's for a quick bite while on the road. Easy to find, right on the square. There are two sections, a family dining room and a sports bar. We sat on the bar side, unfortunately. Typical setting, loud TVs, smoky, dark. Discovered the family room upon searching for the restroom when we were getting ready to leave. Both... More
