I had a great dinner at Galo. I ordered off the menu and they worked hard to get me exactly what I wanted without batting an eyelash. Be sure to try the lobster bisque.

After hearing about Galo's from a co-worker living in the area we decided to visit for an early dinner. The outside looked nice enough however walking inside was really a surprise with a rounded dining area, candlelit tables, Italian décor and murals on the walls and music to match. We were promptly seated and our waitress was extremely friendly helping... More

This restaurant behind Hobby Lobby, in the middle of a small border town in Indiana, remind dedicated me of Maggiano's chain of terrific restaurants. For 18$ I had a rich risotto dish with a lobster sauce over shrimp and lobster meat stuffed I to a wonderfully grilled portobello mushroom. Elegant murals were scattered around the walls like fragmented Roman paintings.

The hotel clerk at the local Holiday Inn suggested this restaurant and it turned out to be a really great experience. The restaurant had a lovely Mediterranean feel to it and one of the dishes on the menu was a seafood portobello risotto. We both ordered it and we were not disappointed. It was delicious, though so rich that neither... More

I used to frequent a pizza place on south 9th and get amazing pasta. When the owners closed I was devastated until they opened gallos and I get my cheese Raviolis again. the service was great and the atmosphere was relaxing.

My husband swears the Italian sub sandwich he ate here was the best he's ever had...and he's eaten plenty of Italian subs! I had a pasta dish and it was really good, too. The sauce was a little sweet for me, but that's just me...I know many like their Italian pasta sauces sweet. The atmosphere was really good here, too.... More

This is our " go-to-place" for great Italian food. Food is always superb, Service is always excellent, atmosphere is very pleasing. The Eggplant Parmesan and Chopped salad are my favorites! I also like the mushroom ravioli. The complimentary bread/oil is great. Skip the big chain and go here if you want to dine Italian. You won't regret it!

We had tried to stop here the night before but they were already closed so returned the next day for early (5pm) dinner before leaving town. The restaurant was not busy and we were seated immediately and our server appeared to take drink order. The service was outstanding and very attentive. The food was excellent, the 3 of us each...
