YES.. you need to eat here

After a long road trip and the bad taste of fast food left in our mouths we wanted something different, found this gem online. OH yes, it is worth the drive into town off freeway and we will be back down to eat there again! The corn beef hash WAS amazing, and the pancake divine and the sweet... read more

This is a hidden gem we would have driven by had we not asked my nail tech for restaurant recommendations. It's an adorable old fashioned diner with four booths and bar seating. Very simple menu but what we had was very tasty. The owner was waiting on customers and very friendly. Wait time is usual for home cooked food, I... More

The diner is cute - small and clean. A compact menu (one page, front and back), with some basic solid options for breakfast and lunch, and reasonably priced. Our server was friendly, but rushed since they were the only one covering house. (Assuming it was the owner.) The biggest drawback was the wait time. Three people in our party, it... More

We went here because I read good reviews online. It is a little place that's only open until 2:00. My husband got sweet potato pancakes, which he said were very good. He also got sausage patties, which appeared to be hand pressed. I got a BLT and it was good. I also got cole slaw, which appeared to be store... More

My husband is from Indiana and is always talking about breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches. Since we were passing through town I searched for restaurants serving these sandwiches. The main street diner was conveniently located so we decided to stop in. The outside of the building was not the best but we decided to go for it. We were so glad... More

We had breakfast in this small diner while visiting family in Richmond. The eggs and omelets were delicious and the biscuits homemade quality. Service was fast and friendly with a never ending cup of coffee. A great place for breakfast or lunch.

We like local places with some history and character so the Main Street Diner seemed like the place. When we arrived the booths were full, but 2 had dishes from the previous diners that had left. The guy behind the counter said to have a seat and he would clean the table off. Took him about 5 minutes to get... More

Relatively limited hours but a great and cozy place to grab brunch. Definitely order the potatoes with your breakfast.

Prices are reasonable, has a cozy atmosphere, with very friendly staff and it's all you would expect from a mom and pop diner! I highly recommend it.
