When we went out to eat, we went to Applebee's, they do not serve any free bread with your meal, they are to cheap to give customers free bread, you have to buy your own, which is bread sticks that are $3-4, in that price range, every restaurant serves free bread to go with your meal, even Skyline chili, serves... Kara was her name. We stopped in in our trip. Late. Best service in a while. From greeting to goodbye she was friendly. Genuine. Smiled. Looked us in the eye. You don't find that much anymore. Food was good. Not great but she made it a pleasant dinner. Thanks Kara for making our trip pleasant !!

Service is always good and its a nice place to go to on Game day. Food is good and their little shooter desserts are sooooo good. it's a very sports related place and fun to be at to watch them. People are ways nice and friendly and prices are average.

Hostess was very nice. Seated at a Booth. The restaurant smelled dirty. Blinds in windows were quite dirty and pictures on walls were smeared with food or something else???? Booth seats were also very poorly cleaned. Menus were dirty also. Ordered food - Burger and Riblets, both were okay, but fries were lukewarm. We asked for a different bottle of... More

Ordered the "American BLT" and got some HOT SPICY spread when it was advertise that they have Smoky Mayo on the sandwich. What is American about putting a spicy spread on the sandwich. Did like the Pretzel appetizer. But the Ladies room was not clean and the waitress said the hostess called in sick and that is why it wasn't... More

I sat at the bar and had a few beers and then ordered some food to take back to the hotel. The staff was really friendly and the food was super.

We came here with our nephews before a late movie on a Saturday night, so there weren't a lot of choices in the area for food. We were seated after being walked around the restaurant looking for a clean table. We should've left then. After deciding what we wanted & placing our order ( coconut shrimp, steak, & 2 orders... Horrible experience at this Applebees.....the manager (marvin) was rude and arrogant. Only time we saw him was when we complained. Then all he could offer was little man syndrome. As an employee for applebees international, I was shocked at his inability to manage. Don't eat there.

I don't know why, but it is tough to get good service from restaurants in Richmond. I don't know if the talent pool is more shallow or there is no pride in their work or what, but I will always enjoy a restaurant with great service even if everything else is so-so. We visited Applebee's the other night and everyone... More
